It looks like Danny is struggling to cope with Ruben’s death (from #411). Something seems to have happened (no idea what) and Flack is very concerned, going to Danny’s apartment. When Danny doesn’t answer Flack forces the super to let him in and has a look around, but Danny isn't there.

Later, Danny is back in his apartment and is dismissive of Lindsay when she turns up to see if he’s OK. He seemed to be hoping/expecting someone else at the door...

This sounds fantastic! Danny drama...what Carmine does best. And I love that Flack is concerned about Danny--that's so Flack. And maybe Danny has finally had enough of Lindsay? This all sounds very, very good.

ETA: Looks like it's the same old "me me me" attitude from Lindsay. Hopefully Danny's getting tired of it.

I honestly wrote this fairly, so it's not my fault how it reads. Yes, Flack is seriously rifling through Danny's things. :devil: :lol:

Anyway, Danny is obviously struggling to cope with Ruben's death, as expected really. It's good to know the TPTB will actually acknowledge it...

The part about Danny seemingly hoping or expecting someone other than Lindsay at his door made me think of Ruben's mother, also. If TPTB are going to go for a possible relationship between Danny and Ruben's mother, I hope they take it slow and do it right. Show them having a friendly and emotional connection and having that develop into something rather than the cliche "we're both grieving so we obviously need to sleep together" scenerio. Ideally, they should just drop any romance, but if they're hell bent on Danny being with someone I could tolerate the above scenerio. That's if they get a competent actress to play Ruben's mother.

I hope we find out Louie's status in this ep. as well. With that ep's. title they'd damn well better address it.

So, I didn't throw up. :lol: It was quite alright (to me), actually. Maybe there's even more icky stuff in the full featurette, I guess I'll find out soon. I've ordered the DVD online and I hope it arrives soon.

Hill actually seems quite comfortable with being at the body farm, LOL.

I hope that they do mention Louie. That was a great story line and lets face it, CSI: NY continuation sucks.

I kinda wonder if they're going to go in that direction. Danny seems so short with Lindsay--who is of course not making things better talking about what she did for him (covered for him, I guess--which, hello, think she owes him there ) and talking about what she needs . I still hope Danny's not cheating, but at the same time, this would be the one way they could sort of make it excusable. People do crazy things when they're grief-striken. And if Danny feels responsible, he could feel he owes it to Ruben's mother to give her whatever he can--and if she wants him, I would assume he'd go along. Either way, he needs to unload himself of the selfish shrew that is Lindsay. :lol:

I'm kind of hoping Louie is the one he's hoping will show up, too.

I still hope Danny's not cheating, but at the same time, this would be the one way they could sort of make it excusable.

I know it's necesary to solve the question, why are Danny and Lindsay acting so weird -and with "weird" I mean not even talking about what happened at the end of season three-with each other? Maybe while Mac was in London, something happened between those two that TPTB are not explaining to us, because they have in mind showing this moments later by using flashbacks, just as they did with the sex scene at "Snow day".

I think the cheating thing is so out of character too, and it's even more out of Danny-way taking in consideration how much he cared about Linds during the whole season three.

Note, Hannah, that what I said in my previous post about the cheating was referred to a quote said by someone else.

How out of characters would it be if Danny cheats on Lindsay especialy since he spent like the entire season 3 waiting for her. I know Danny is suppose to be a playboy and all but isent he suppose to be like a changed man.

It sounds intrieging. I like how Flack gets worried and goes to see him. The fact he isn't there is also intriging as would like to know if it was the Ruben thing or something to do with Louie even.

The lindsay thing i think its to be expeected him being short seeing as he doesnt seem to be having the best time. But as a partial DL shipper i would have liked to see or would like to see more of the S2/S3 banter because thats what the nicest part was.

It does tho make me think that it was more of a one nighter or they are seriously "taking it slow" because its the only finale thing i was expecting to be continued. I see Danny having more of a decency to end it or talk to her rather than cheat.

I don't think anything about the spoilers suggests that he cheats, so getting caught up in that would be a mistake right now IMO. I suspect that he's waiting for a friend or, as the title might suggest, a family member (*crosses fingers for Louie*). Just because he doesn't want to see Lindsay at the moment doesn't mean it's because he wants to see some other woman--maybe he just doesn't want to have to share his feelings or explain anything. I mean, hasn't Lindsay tried more than once to get Danny to open up? Maybe he just doesn't want to deal with that right then. Honestly, who wants to spend every cotton-pickin' moment of their waking lives with their significant other?

So no, until something actually suggests that Danny is going to cheat, I'm not assuming it. Not wanting Lindsay around could be for any number of reasons.

The story will continue in an episode in February. We don't know anything more than that right now.

Nah, Fay is right. There isn't even the suggestion that Danny is cheating, just that Lindsay isn't who he was expecting at the door. It could be anyone, and I too would like to think that he's waiting and wanting for Louie to show up, and with the name of the episode you never know...
