Ahh, wasn't Devon only in one episode? She's been thoroughly judged and dismissed as useless by a large portion of the members of the board.

You don't have to judge her, but I'll feel free to do so. In any case, it's just talking, and I could very well wish to eat my words after episode 7 airs. Time will tell.

(I'm not going to kill anybody. ;))

Devon is probably the most maligned and brushed off character since she appeared and even way before that aside from Lindsay! Although I wouldn't say she was uselesss...She served her purpose since TPTB were going for a James Bond theme...merely a plot device.

On another note, I was wondering if anyone caught the fact that in You Only Die Once, the murder victim was found on Bond Street...the episode being an homage to James Bond movies and the spy genre.

My fave CM character is Reid, though. So adorkable. Heehee.
He really is.

I'm willing to take back my initial opinion of Kendall should she prove to have more depth than we think she has, in upcoming episodes. I'm serious, LOL.
Oh, I'm willing to change my mind if they give me reason, but I'm not terribly confident that they'll give her much depth at all. *sigh*

I think it's largely because Devon made such a "grand" entrance in the episode by making out with Flack.
Well, Kendall showed up for the first time nearly naked on Adam's couch, so by rights I could hate her just for that reason. ;) I was optimistic when I first read about her in the spoilers, though, and eager to see where they went with it, and I don't actually hate her--but I think the way they introduced her was pointless and didn't do them any favors. Like I said, time will tell if I change my mind, but we'll see...

True enough--'useless' may not be the best word. I was just pointing out that plenty of people judged Devon after one episode (including myself), so it's really no different than judging Kendall after one episode--and since Kendall is coming back whereas Devon is probably never going to be on the show again, I don't think it's pointless to wish the writers would be a bit more creative with the character. ;)

I didn't mean to offened anyone btw..
Oh, I don't think you did, certainly not me--I just think it's as acceptable to question a recurring lab character as it is to question someone who was merely a girlfriend/plot device. ;)

Cool. I was a bit worried there.

My first impression on Kendell was strange I guess. I thought of it kind of funny how she didn't want to get up

I admit I was one of those who judged Devon too harshly! I was, actually still am, a Devon-basher! But I get your point of judging Kendall after just one episode…since she would be reappearing in future episodes unlike Devon who, as previously mentioned, might never appear again. *crosses fingers* I concur that it would have been much better if the writers could have gotten more creative with Kendall, being the recurring character that she is supposed to be.

So, after reading all the material that Lorelai left on the previous posts and taking in considerations all the spoileers abaut the following episodes, do you think the whole 333-arch is going to end with Mac's journey to Chicago? If so, don't you think this storyline is going to end too early?
Nah, I think it's much better this way, rather than dragging out through the whole season. :)

The "Commuted Sentences" episode seems interesting. So that's the one that was shot at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. ;) I see Kendall is appearing again. Why hype up the character's relationship (or lack thereof) with Adam if she's only going to appear once, then disappear for 5-6 episodes? Her being in the ep or not doesn't make a difference, lol.

I agree about the 333 storyline. TPTB said it would run over half the season, so if it concludes in ep 10 or 11, that would be about right. They concluded the Hawkes-Shaun Casey arc around the same time. Plus, I think TPTB need to give poor Mac a break and give another character, ideally Flack, some heavy, in-depth, angst-causing story arc.

Hey, has anyone read the third CSI NY book - Deluge? Because the plot for 'Commuted Sentences' sounds similar to the plot of the A-case in that book.

Thanks for posting the press release Fay. :) It is interesting to see them listing Angell as 'Jessica' as all the other press releases had her as 'Jennifer' I believe. But then we know that TPTB like to change pertinent information about their characters whenever they feel like it, so maybe we shouldn't be so surprised... Although I vote for Jessica being Jennifer's evil twin a la Sunset Beach's Ben and Derek.

On to Kendall. I don't think I can fairly judge her on one performance, and although I didn't take to her immediately, having watched the first episode a couple of times she did grow on me a little. My main issue is her voice, which just a bit odd, I can't explain it, but she is difficult to listen too. Her actual interaction with Adam I quite liked, which is good as I think the spoilers have them engaging in a little more lab flirting. I wonder if TPTB have any other characteristics in store for Kendall?

As for the 333 storyline. Half of the season is long enough for another Mac story arc IMHO. I'll be glad when it's over as I'm afraid it didn't really grab me. ;)

Wow Lorelai you are on fire this week posting about everything.

Hmm interesting to hear about Mac's paranoia with being stalked and the tattoos of 333.

I cannot wait for this eppie!

LOL Somebody stop me!

Everybody reads Kristine’s interviews. I mean everybody.

See. Read over here.

So, welcome to CSI NY : Bold & Beautiful aka Days of our Crimelab.

Wish list anybody?

Danny & Lindsay are in love, & they should get married & have 2.5 children and live happily ever after.

Peyton should realize she can’t live without Mac & come back to NY, marry Mac, have 2.5 children and live happily ever after.

Drew should turn up to be a nice guy, marry Stella, have 2.5 children and live happily ever after.

Flack should start a relationship with Angell, marry her, have 2.5 children and live happily ever after.

Adam should marry Kendall, have 2.5 children and live happily ever after.

Hawkes… Maybe if he would get a girlfriend, have 2.5 children and live happily ever after with her, TPTB would remember him a couple of times a season.

Everybody loves everybody & they are connected.

*Lorelai is singing & dancing in a pink tutu throwing m&ms & spraying whipped cream on everyone* [/sarcasm]

PS. Is it me or there is no mention of the source of the interview?

I believe they did credit CSI Files, but it was just a teeny, tiny mention.

I will say this: there is an episode, either 6 or 7, and I don't want to give it away but there is a moment of flirtation that takes place between Flack and a character we're familiar with,Cahill told CSI Files.

Everybody loves everybody & they are connected.

I have just realized something, which is, wouldn't it be a little bit strange if the main characters of the show ended up being cuples? I mean, all of them work together, in fact they can be considered as the same unit, so the Mac-Stella, Danny-Lindsay and Flack-Angell thing sounds like... I don't know, weird... it's like "come on guys... meet new people, please!"

yas

PS: Note that it's just an idea, I am a huge fan of the D/L - M/S relationship.
*********

"I'm glad you stayed"

It would be kinda wired if all the mian charcters paired up and had 2.5 children together. Plus I would feel bad for Halwks beacuse then everyone would have a significant other except for him.
