Episode 9x20 - Untitled

9.20 - Untitled

~ Jared Maddox finds his girlfriend cheating on him... with a girl. After surprising her in one of the Dade University dorm rooms, Jared tells Corinne (his girlfriend) that he forgives her, and that he wants to make things work. She doesn't - she loves Monica (the other girl).

~ Corinne is found dead in the same bathtub that she was making love to Monica in. The CSIs find GHB in Jared's room, and automatically consider him a suspect. Calleigh and Natalia go on a big chase to confront him, but he's totally wasted and has no idea what is going on.

~ The CSIs are curious as to how Jared knew Corinne would be at Monica's dorm. He explains that he got an anonymous call to check out Monica's place. He hands over his phone to Calleigh so she can confirm his story.

~ Ryan visits Tom Loman in the morgue and the two of them discuss Corinne's cause of death. She was drowned first, and then the killer extracted her blood.

~ The anonymous call placed to Jared traces back to Vanessa Green. Calleigh and Eric search her dorm room and find lots of journals and photos that indicate Vanessa was obsessed with Monica. (Lots of stalker/obsessive behavior in this episode, lol.)

That's all I know for now. :) Horatio, Tripp, and Walter are all mentioned.

Thanks, vegaslights!

Four 'About Face' Promo Stills.

Also, for reference:

New tech Molly Sloan will appear in three episodes so far this season. 9x14 "Stoned Cold," 9x18 "About Face," and 9x19 "Caged."

More on 9x20 - now titled 'Red Blood':

~ For those who wonder if Horatio/Calleigh will ever have one-on-one scenes again, rest assured. There's one or two in this episode. ;)

~ Loman gives opinion on some evidence in the layout room. One of the suspects in the episode is attacked (yet is still alive), so Ryan and Calleigh ask Tom for some help.

~ Monica was kidnapped by her uncle as a young girl and now suffers Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Thanks to vegaslights for the information.

9x18 spoilers from TVGuide.

Eva La Rue previewed a harrowing moment for her character, Natalia Boa Vista, on a CSI: Miami episode she just finished shooting. "I get kidnapped," says La Rue. "There's a serial killer that is out, and we're trying to keep him from killing again. He kidnaps me, but it doesn't end up being the actual killer. He's trying to profess his innocence, so after I beat the crap out of him, I go about trying to figure out if he's telling the truth."

Minor spoilers in the below article:

On Location: Long Beach Stands in for the Other Sunshine State in 'CSI:Miami'.

Crime-scene investigator Ryan Wolfe peers around the corner of a building, spying on an ex-con and some neighborhood toughs. When the group disappears down the alley, Wolfe chases after his target, who clambers over a metal gate and into an apartment complex in Miami’s Little Havana.

At least, that’s what the script says. In reality, Wolfe, played by Jonathan Togo, was acting out the scene Monday afternoon in downtown Long Beach at the corner of 1st Street and Lime Avenue.

The scene was for the 19th episode of the current season of “CSI: Miami,” the long-running CBS series starring David Caruso that has made Long Beach its home even though it’s some 2,300 miles from South Florida. [...]

9x21- 'L.I.V.E'

~The episode starts out at Bar 212 where Neal, a late 40s guy who doesn't really belong at the establishment, finds himself unexpectedly talking to Olivia, a young waitress. Another bar patron comes along and bumps into Olivia. She accidentally spills a drink on him and ends up getting really pissed. Neal sticks up for Olivia and the result is a fist fight between the two men. Shortly after Neal goes to use the restroom, another man heads into the men's room and finds Neal standing over Patrick's body (the guy he got into the fight with).

~Horatio and Tripp arrive at the scene to discover that Neal and the victim are gone. Natalia and Eric go check out Neal's car in the parking lot and find Patrick's body in the trunk of the car. Across the street is Olivia's apartment, so Tripp tells them to go check out her place while he calls in the new crime scene. Olivia and Neal don't answer the door at first, but when they do Neal tells Eric and Natalia that he didn't do it; he's being set up. Eric arrests the newly formed lovers and proceeds to the elevator while Natalia processes Olivia's place. Just after they get into the elevator and it starts to move, the elevator comes to a halt. The three attempt to get out of the elevator, but Eric is the only one to do so. The elevator begins to rapidly fall. Eric makes his way down flights of stairs to get to the elevator and when he does: Olivia and Neal are missing.

Other small notes:

~L.I.V.E. refers to a corporation that might be behind the death of Patrick.

~Neal has a wife and three children.

~Neal's wife tells MDPD that Neal is "turning into Charlie Sheen."

~I see mentions of Walter, Ryan, and Dave Benton. Nothing about Calleigh or Loman so far.

Thanks, vegaslights for the info!

Leven Rambin Talks CSI:Miami, One Tree Hill, & Which Show Changed Her Life

Some snippets:

She's very detail-oriented so that's not really me. (Laughs) I'm not very obsessive compulsive about anything and she's very attentive, very smart. Has a photographic memory [...]

[...] the character she's spunky, and very smart. She can keep with Johnathon Togo's character Ryan who is kind of the sarcastic one of the bunch, and she keeps up with him and they enjoy each other's company. It's kind of a cool storyline that they're developing about our two characters. Kind of having a friendship relationship and then teasing each other and flirting. So it's cool to have one side of the coin be purely scientific crime solving base and at the same time we still have fun. We have a little flirtation going and they don't really do that on the show. They said it's kind of like a departure for them. So I hope people enjoy the relationship between Molly and Ryan.

Any final message to the fans?
Leven- I'm still doing CSI Miami, that is probably going to continue for a while.

Spoiler Report for 'About Face'

According to CSI Files sources, "About Face” finds the team on the trail of an escaped prisoner named Patrick Clarkson. He was convicted of murdering Haley Sherman four years ago. Haley was raped with a soda bottle, and her neck was broken. Her husband, Ted, found her body when he came home. Evidence on the soda bottle led the police to Patrick, whom Ted discovered peeking in the window the same day Haley was murdered. Patrick’s wife Lyla couldn’t believe her husband would do such a thing, but after the trial and the conviction, she had no choice but to accept what happened. She got remarried and moved on with her life, raising her young son Zane to believe her new husband was his father.

With Patrick back on the street, it’s not surprising when another murder is committed which seems strikingly similar to the Haley Sherman case. Cara Landry was raped with a foreign object, and her neck was broken. Horatio speaks to Dr Greg Calomar, who was walking home from dinner when he saw a man run out of Cara’s apartment building. The door was left ajar, and Greg could tell something was wrong. When he looked inside and saw Cara’s body, he called 911. Horatio asks for a description of the man he saw leaving the apartment, and Greg describes Patrick Clarkson perfectly—in fact, he says he recognized him from the news.

9.22 - Untitled

Here's what I know...

~ The episode starts off with Horatio and Tripp on an airplane. Jack McNeil, a fugitive, is in their custody and they're in the process of escorting him from the Bahamas to Miami International. Horatio notices something not quite right with the flight pattern, so he talks to the captain who assures him that everything is according to plan. As Horatio makes his way back to his seat, Tripp notices a gun. The flight crew start firing bullets at Horatio and Tripp (including the plane's captain).

~ The plane crashes. Horatio rushes over to Tripp, who is bleeding badly. McNeil somehow escapes.

~ Patrick Clarkson from 9.18 emerges as a connection to the case. Jack somehow helped Patrick escape from prison, and while Patrick is grateful for all of Jack's help, he isn't willing to return the favor.

~ There's a counterfeiting ring in connection to Jack. Agent Lockhart assists the team in capturing Jack.

~ I see everybody mentioned, including Travers and Loman. :)

9.21 is now titled "G.O." I now see Calleigh mentioned working in Trace.

Thanks to vegaslights for the info!

9.22 - "Dead Reckoning."

A bit more info:

A near-death experience causes Tripp to pull back from the team, just at a time when Horatio needs him most.

Mark Pellegrino Guest Stars on "Miami":

Actor Mark Pellegrino (Lost, Supernatural, Being Human) will appear in the March 27 episode of CSI: Miami, “About Face”. (Spoilers after the jump!)

As CSI Files previously reported, “About Face” finds Natalia Boa Vista (Eva la Rue) in the clutches of an escaped convict trying to prove his innocence. Pellegrino plays a “interesting character” in the episode, according to Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko), “and he does a great job with it.” Rodriguez added, “Everybody has their own laws that they live by, and the guy he plays has an odd sense of what’s right and what’s wrong.”

Scorching Hot Miami Scoop: Elizabeth Berkely Returns!:

Though details are under wraps for now, Elizabeth Berkley is on set this week to film another episode of the 9 year old series.

Berkley first appeared back in season 6 as Julia Winston, a former girlfriend to Horatio Caine (David Caruso). Though the two have a heated past (mainly, Winston is a bit crazy!), they also share a common interest: their son, Kyle.

Miami has been bringing back several of its infamous baddies this season. Most recently, the team captured one of Miami’s most wanted: Memmo Fiero, the man who killed Horatio’s wife.

Berkley’s episode is slated to air in May.

TV Guide:

What can you tell me about CSI: Miami? — Jamie
ADAM: Sounds like the show might be getting closer to finding a love interest for David Caruso's Horatio. In the season finale, we'll meet a sexy Secret Service agent who is assigned to aid Horatio's team and quickly takes a shine to him (and vice versa). As it stands now, the character could recur next season — provided of course that a critical mistake Horatio makes doesn't end up getting her killed.
