yeah so i'm interseted bout H's son, i think it's going to be a kid he had with an ex wife or something, Donahue said(forgot where) that they were going to use the ex wife thing as a possilbe storyline a few season ago, but they didn't use it. so i'm thinking they're going to use it now. plus in Manhattan Manhunt when H gets served he said that it was on a personal matter outside the job. so that makes me think it might be something and ex or something.

I thought that had to do with his father's death, but they didn't really ever say what it had to do with. I remember seeing a casting call for the character Yelena and it said she was Horatio's ex-wife. Maybe Yelena was suppose to have been Horatio's ex, but they may have changed her to his brother's widow. I will see if I can find the link to it.

i never said it was..i just said it makes me think it might have something to do with him having an ex-wife. but it could have just as easily been something about his father;s death.

I heard somewhere that "Evan Ellingson" is casted to play Horatio's son.. GOD I hope not. He's the kid that played in 24, Jack Bauer's nephew in S6. Don't find him very good..

Don't know much about Ellingson (only occasionally watched "24"), although he looks familiar and he certainly has the required features and coloring for the role of Kyle.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays.

I don't know him, but from the pics, he's not that good looking, still he's not bad like Ray Jr's actor in season 3. And he's blonde, not red haired.

I've never seen Evan Ellingson in anything, but I think he certainly looks like H (blond hair, though, not red, but that could change ...) - he could definitely pull it off in terms of looking like his son - he definitely has the features - esp. in the eyes.

Am I right that the season premiere is Sept. 24? If so,they probably should've shot some stuff with the actor playing H's kid already, right? Anybody got anymore info on that or where they are on their shooting schedule.

Oh, and as a side note, I was wondering if there were any spoilers about who was working with who - I really miss H and Cal working together - anyone know if they're ever gonna have a scene together again?

I totally agree with your opinion abot Evan Ellingson fetures....He really looks like H though blond hair ;)
Probably he's the best one to be Horatio's son :D
I also miss H/Cal scenes :(

wow. he does look like H. i think they should dye it red dye it for the show. i think he'd be better looking with red hair, and maybe it could be a little shorter. and in this pic i found he actually looks kinda cute. Evan

Oh, hes a cute kid, he'll do! I'd keep the blonde hair tho, they don't have to look identical.. I have strawberry blonde hair & none of my girls are red headed, in fact 2 out of the 3 are blondes. He looks like he could pass as a complete punk, too.

I watched him this last season on '24'. He was ok. But then again, the season wasn't that great. :rolleyes:

Not that tptb care, but I wouldn't think there was any reason to dye Evan's hair red. Most redheads I know do not have exclusively redheaded children, if any.

Haven't seen much of Evan onscreen, but he certainly has the right look. Just spare us the 'sunnies' and the one-liners. Those are NOT inherited characteristics.

I just went to tv.com and they said that the premiere is going to be 90 minutes long.
