you know the only reason they don't do H lab shots anymore is due to David's eyesight. he has a condition (can't remember the name of it at the moment) but it causes him to have double vision and his right eye tends so slide sideways towards his nose if he focuses directly on an object. so that's why they don't do many closeups unless he has the sunnies on and why H doesn't look dierectly at someone, unless he is looking up, if he looks up at them his eye doesn't do it. which explains why he often leans on the interrigation table and bends his head slightly to look up at suspects, tilts his head and just doesn't focus on them directly or stands sideways and looks at the ground or at something farther away.

Thanks for that added info, NEED4SPEED, I had no idea. I for one am just undecided until we see the epi. lets face it, there are a million ways they could play out Speed/Eric's storyline its going to boil down to if the writers can pull it off. In my opinion, if Speed is supposed to be alive & kicking he would be interacting w/ other castmembers, also. My biggest thought is the fact that Speed has never been a real emotional guy. His interaction w/ Eric always seemed playful & sarcastic, so im very curious to see how it will be played out: serious or kinda humorous. In any way, im anxiuos to see it & however it is played out I hope in some way it is to comfort Eric & help him through his recovery!

^ You got me thinking - And I completely agree with you on all points, mjszud.

Maybe if the writers were going to try and pull of the 'oh by the way he wasn't dead', the reason they'd only have him interacting with Eric is because Eric is the only one who discovers he's alive?

The first spoiler was regarding credit card fraud and apparently Eric sees him there (And isn't sure if that was actually him )and sees a nervous Cooper. It would be an interesting angle if the writers wanted to play it out that way.

I just hope the guy has some lines, hallucination or not. :lol: I miss E/S banter.

I'm not sure if i'm allowed to respond so quickly after my post - apologies, if so, but as much as I'd like to see Speed alive, the fact that he actually layed there in front of Horatio & died, bleeding, the whole shabang. I'm not that much against bringing back 'the dead' but that one would be very hard to explain.

I don't care how he comes back, but I agree that when Speed comes back, I hope we get some humor and not to mush drama. i don't know if I can take Eric talking to himself that much, but whatever. As long as Speed brings the lab together or something.

To be honest, I actually prefer him to be alive, and not just part of a haloucination. I was and still am gutted.com that Speedle is dead. I'm still heartbroken whenever I've watched Lost Son since. I know I know its a recycled storyline and farfetched and all that palava but I HATE Speedle being dead still, 3 years on. So if he comes back to established he's not dead and then goes away again I can live with that :lol: I may be able to watch Lost Son again without going through an entire box of Kleenex......or maybe not.

If it is just haloucinations that Eric is havin' we will only get to see an emotional response about Speedle from him. I would quite like to see Alexx, H, Calleigh and even Ryan have a reaction to a living breathing Tim Speedle 3 years on.

It makes sense to me on the level that Speed and Eric were such good friends and were very close. We saw in season 3 that Eric took Speed's death a lot harder than most did; so in that respect, Eric being the only to see Speed kind of makes sense to me.

I would however, like to see Cal, H, and Alexx interact with Speed b/c back in the early seasons the team was sooo close. Speed's death sort of broke that apart and of course we never really got much emotional closure from all the characters. So it would be something I would like to see addressed. Although after 3 yrs, it seems a day late and a dollar short to me.

This whole Speed coming back thing is ridiculous enough, and if he's actually alive this show will sink to the bottom of the totem pole of mediocrity, where it's been teetering on for the past few years. We have enough bad fanfiction about him being undercover/under witness protection program/off visiting grandma. Let's see something of actual creativity on the show.

Exactly. I couldn't agree more. As has been said by many, if Speed has been alive all this time, it will be nothing short of mindbogglingly ridiculous. I sincerely hope the writers do not go down that route if they wish to maintain any kind of credibility. As Ducky said a couple of pages back, who would have thought they were so desperate!

;)As we all know, the intent of a spoiler is to pique interest 'prior to'; a ploy using the media to hopefully generate a ratings blitz from the beginning (or start of new season).

:pMost viewers loved Speed, mourned his loss, and would delight in his return. :p

:devil:CAVEAT COMING! :devil: We've seen way too many outrageous arcs, shabby writing, tired acting, totally misleading spoilers, to feel confident about this new development.

:rolleyes:Can they pull it off? We certainly hope so; tptb are losing credibility fast and this COULD be the final straw for many.

:eek: I, for one, will be watching with bated breath to see if they can do it. DON'T SCREW IT UP, GUYS! :eek:

If Speed is still dead, they could always have him stand close to the others and have them feel his presence. It isn't unheard for the living to feel the presence of a dead love one even if they can't see them or hear them.

unfortunately there really hasn't been any mention of that in any of the spoilers I have read and none of the actors are saying anything about it so i guess we will have to wait and see!

They probably will have scenes involving the love triangle sprinkled in during the season. They will probably build it up. Maybe they will have a big scene during sweeps week. :devil:
