Don't know if these have been posted here or not but thought I'd post them. They're promo pics from IA.
Thanks for posting the H pics katpin. Very nice! :D

This was probably already discussed, but Ausiello said a few weeks ago that one of the main characters would be shot bad — really bad (sounded like he meant killed) — and that it was someone who had been on the cover of TV Guide. Ausiello said it would be during February sweeps. Doesn't sound like Nick. Anybody got more info?

Well, in the episode 'Man Down' (I think that's what it's called), Eric is supposed to be shot in the head, but he survives. Oh, and it's set to air in Feb., so I'm pretty sure that's what Ausiello was referring to.

Seriously, does anybody feel like Miami doesn't have much direction right now? I think it's safe to say that not a whole lot is going to come out of the Nick murder/Natalia drama storyline, because only a few episodes down the line the focus seems to have been switched to Eric. I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped that after one episode too. Grr! The lack of continuity and follow-through just gets at me sometimes.

I've no idea where they are planning to go with Jake either. Do we know if he's appearing in any more episodes after this one?

I totally agree. When I wrote Corey Miller he told me they write storylines for certain characters in order to give the actor a chance to shine but it seems like the last season and a half has been totally about Eric.

As for continuity....there seems to be no such thing. We get closed storylines but not in order. They come two or three episodes after the initial episode that starts it. It is not only confusing it is annoying!! Take for instance Nick asking Valera out...that happened how many episodes ago? and now we are seeing the date...it is just too confusing and off.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say that. Looking at Season 4, apart from the whole Natalia love triangle :)rolleyes:), which benefited absolutely no one, he only had the Marisol storyline, which was hijacked by Horatio. I mean, Eric was in storylines (unlike Calleigh, who hardly had anything at all that season), but he was never really the focal point. So far, Season 5 has been all about Natalia. And not in a good way, she's had possibly the biggest chunk of screentime yet still has not developed any character. Each actor really deserves their moment in the spotlight, but it kind of just feels like the writers are dabbling in things a little, running off to something else, and the maybe coming back to it later. It just feels really disorganized. I'd like them just to have one (or two) in the spotlight at a time, have them go through a well thought out character arc, beginning to end, and then move on to something different. There can be a slight amount of overlap, where one story is nearing an end and they set the wheels in motion for the next, not having a handful of stories all over the place. It's very hard to follow, especially when Miami's continuity is as bad as it is.
