Yes. From what I've heard, he dies, and then comes back to life (maybe they paddle him, or H does something superH-ish again. I'm not sure)

When I read that, I immediately imagined Horatio reaching into Eric's chest ala Neo in The Matrix Reloaded and restarting his heart with his bare hands. Thank you, you totally made my evening! :D

No, thank you, that totally made mine. I'm going to have that image stuck in my head for God knows how long...

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

I think it will be hard enough watching him die and them bringing back but the whole Matrix coralation just makes it that much harder to even think about! Now all I'll think about is what would it be like if Horatio did that.. :D

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

Do we know yet if that little b!t[h from last week's ep will be back? I want to see her get hers in the worst way.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

What, the scam artist? Probably not...maybe she'll be back towards the end of the season but unless they leave someone's story hanging (like they did with Clavo in "Blood Brothers") they don't return. But I would like to see her come back, maybe as the victim...

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

I can't wait, as long as they write it well. I have a funny mental image though..."I am Super H...*touches him* LIVE!" I know they'd never do that, at least they better not but it has me laughing like crazy

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

There's clinical death and then there's legal death.
In general, clinical death is neither necessary nor sufficient for a determination of legal death.

Today, where a definition of the moment of death is required, doctors and coroners usually turn to "brain death" or "biological death": People are considered dead when the electrical activity in their brain ceases (cf. persistent vegetative state)

So he's going to be clinically dead a few times. :(

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

Thanks for the definitions athlov I've always been a little confused when it comes to the two...so that totally cleared it up for me :) I really can't wait to see this episode. I think he supposed to flatline twice so he will be clinically dead twice!

I get goose bumps just thinking about this ep :)

Wouldn't that be the icing on the cake!
I really hope this is another humbling event for our dear H. I love the guy most when he lets his emotions get the better of him.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

I have high hopes for this ep (both "No Man's Land" and "Man Down") and I'm praying I won't be let down. They have 40 minutes to make an incredbile episode play out, and I'm looking forward to seeing it happen. *crosses fingers that there won't be a let down like "Throwing Heat" was* :D

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

Throwing Heat didn't totally disappoint me but it didn't exactly live up to its hype either. In fact most of the stories this season haven't lived up to my expectations. So I'm with CSIMiamiLover...the wroters have 40 minutes in what should be great episodes to turn the season around for me and be great for the show in general.

Hey All,
I've been hangin' out in my own H/C world, but I'm back! I just posted about "Officer Down" - that season 2 episode that never was - and I just had to jump into the discussion here about main characters getting hurt.
It really is kinda weird, but when a main guy or gal goes down, everyone rallies together, and there's all this emotion. Personally, I really wanted Calleigh to get shot for real in this year's episode (when the Kevlar caught the bullet), not b/c I wanted to see her die or anything, but b/c I wanted to see Horatio's reaction. Call me crazy, but I love it when Horatio gets all emotional. I was watching repeats of NYPD Blue, and I was blown away by DC's acting. I mean, I wish Horatio would get that intense sometimes.
I think that's why they make everyone but Horatio get hurt - everyone loves to watch him suffer LOL - but in a good way! He's always so cool and collected - it's about freakin' time he loses it - and hopefully Calleigh will be there for him (just my own personal shipper preference - no offense).
I feel bad for Eric - I really have grown fond of the guy, especially since Speed (who was my favorite character) died. I actually didn't know who they were going to kill off back in Season 3, and I thought it would be Eric - man was I surprised! I felt terrible. I'm glad they're kinda bringin back Speed - not letting H forget about losing one of his own, you know? That kinda stays with you, I'm sure.
Anyway, I'm hoping the team will become more of a "team" after these episodes - they've been so aloof and weird lately - no comradery, no hangin out after hours, no joking around (except for Curse of the Coffin, esp. the end, which was hilarious! They need more of that.)
I'm gonna check out the end of tonight's repeat to see if there's a preview for next week - can't wait!!!

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

Can someone tell me why "Officer Down" never aired? It sounded like it would've been an awesome ep. Not to mention the fact that they would've actually shot Calleigh instead pulling the crap they did in "Going Going Gone"
The whole kevlar thing was total buzz kill...I mean they hyped the whole idea of her being shot and then 'oh hey guess what? she has the smallest looking kevlar vest in the world on' Considering how form fitting her outfit was...don't you think we would've seen some of the outline of the vest?

Officer Down should've totally aired

Re: CSI: Miami Season 5 **Spoiler Lab** #2-Proceed With Caut

^Yeah, well, in Miami they're miracle-workers.

Wait, so Calleigh was supposed to get shot back in S2? I didn't know that. 'Course I didn't really get into Miami until this season started (and what a horrible thing to start out on...)

Anyway, I totally agree, I'd love to see H lose control. He's always so calm and collected, it's a little unnerving. He did a little in 'Lost Son,' but he kept it together pretty well, all things considered.

C'mon Girl Power!

I hate that when they take a strong female character and do that. I think it would be a great storyline to see her deal with a situation like that.

We've only seen her unsure of herself a few times (10-7 when Haggen killed himself & Going Under when she's sitting on the bankment and looking at the water). But other than that Calleigh hasn't really been in the forefront of the storyline.
