Wow, ilh214 , I love your icons. They're amazing as always. My favorites, the Calleigh one, I love the colour, the picture and the font you used and the Eric one, it's really beautiful! Well, keep up the good work ;)

These icons are great! Wish I had the software and knowledge to make them! Will definitely be keeping an eye on this thread!
 
katbug, I just recently tried my first icons. I used to think like you. But the software is easy to get, you can dowload a free trial version or a free program like GIMP, which is the one I am using. And even though it's kind of hard (at least for me in my beggining), it's funny. If you'd like to, why not give it a try? I'm sure you'll be doing some cool icons soon!
As for the other icons posted, they are beautiful ;)

So I completely forgot my new computer has Vista. Does anyone know which programs can be used with that? Thanks!

I have Vista. I use photofilter. Its a very plain program but I'm pretty sure any program could be used on it. Such as Photoshop or Paintshop Pro.
 
I got Vista, and lemme tell you. It ain't that bad. ;)

Lilly, that one you posted up there as 'H2' of Horatio walking away, i got one just like that! A little more green sapce to the left but thats it. :lol: Posted this one a while back. :D

I was shooting for a AD kind of thing. If i had the animation program i could do it. Like a 'single, CSI Lieutenant, likes long walks on the beach, hobbies include taking down crimnals and listening to others and classical music. Please call 986-7167.' All the while pictures matching with the captions flash by. You can try it if you want. :) (That's my phone number. *snicker* ;) )
