I love how relaxed the cast has been about this on Twitter. You can tell that they're very, very annoyed, but they aren't being obnoxious about it. Actually, they're kind of being very snarky about it, which is amusing to me because that's how most of their characters are on the show. :lol:

A: The spin off really has nothing to do with the cast thing. They really are unrelated.

Sorry, Joe, you can say that as often as you want, but I will never not blame the spinoff, since money that they could be using for AJ (because some of it is money, no matter what the "official reason" is) is going to a spinoff that isn't necessary.
 
^ I agree.No matter how many times the producers say it's not becouse of the spin off,That money could have been used to keep AJ.My other fear is that they give the spin off the better cases,especially becouse some of the plots were lacking last season.:(

MGG is riot .And it can not wait for 9/22/10.
 
I can't wait for 9/22/10 either.

From what I've heard, each show is allotted a separate amount of money for its budget needs. But that doesn't quite explain things according to most fans. ;) I don't like the spinoff either. I think everybody in the world knows that by now :lol:, but if I'm going to be mad at anyone/anything for possibly taking money away that could go to CM, I'm picking Charlie Sheen as the culprit since he's an abuser.
 
Sheen is definitely one of the people that I'm irritated about, because that show's pretty much hit its "should be done already" point anyway. Why bother keeping him if his show isn't really any good anymore? Waste of time if you ask me...

So... if there are less shows then every show gets more money? Doesn't that mean that I can still blame the spinoff by default? Because that's certainly what it sounds like... :p
 
HnStetlerfan you're correct from what I understand as well, contracts and show budgets are separate. A show is issued a budget based on seasons and per episodes. So as much as we would love to blame the spinoff that is a separate entity and therefore would not play into how much an actor would get on any show.

Again I have to ask and until she is ready to answer we won't really know, how much was AJ asking for? What else was she asking for? what was the networks offer and so on. But it seems to me that the only one that seems really ticked off beside the fans, is Paget. Only she has said it was financial to my memory AJ never stated or hinted at it. Again if this is all about financial consideration in the way that they mean. Maybe on Paget, but we don't know it for AJ and until she is ready to come out and say so.. were left wondering, speculating.

I sort of feel like Paget is the most irritated because the biggest insult is to her, really. AJ was fired, but she can now either move on or spend time with her family. She's "freed" from the show, so to speak, so while I'm sure she's upset to be off of the show, she's not as annoyed by what is happening as we all are. Paget, however, is stuck. They're lessening her screentime, but she's still on the show. She can't really do much of anything else, because she's "trapped" in a show that apparently doesn't think it needs her as much as it needs the other characters.

However, that entire paragraph is probably just me rambling distractedly and irritably while I watch Digimon, so maybe I'm very incorrect.
 
Yeah but Paget had the option I would guess to take the deal she did or not return to the show. I get her irritation at taking a screen cut and maybe a financial cut and maybe even a bit because a friend she has worked with for a while got fired. But she did have the options she did.

You know I have to bring this up cause it would be unlike me. I am wondering if I can demand or start a petition of Rossi in Jeans and maybe even a T-shirt (like morgan wears). :lol:
 
Yeah, I know that she had options. I guess I'm just trying to say that, even though most of the others have been pretty calm, it's understandable that at least one of them is irritated.

Rossi must wear jeans. I like the shirt/blazer/jeans combo. It's kind of like "How can we make this awesome FBI guy even more awesome?" "I know! We'll let him wear jeans!" Srsly. :lol:

-8 Days of filming. [in regards to question filming an ep]

-The team is complete in the first episode back. [Will A.J. and Paget be in that first episode of season six?]

-Cast read through was great. The whole team together.

-The read through today was bittersweet. But can I just say how classy @ ajcookofficial is? She is the best!
