Can you tell us what's coming up next for the Criminal Minds ladies?
ADAM: I can tell you what's coming up for one of them. Garcia is taking a road trip to Alaska, where a serial killer has a small town in a frenzied state a la Christopher Nolan's Insomnia. "We love getting her out there," executive producer Chris Mundy tells us. "She's so good. Any way we can possibly get her out of her office, we do. It's a big episode for her."

Hmm... I wonder if she'll be going alone or if Kevin will be going with her. It'd be weird if she went alone.

It isn't weird that she's taking a road trip to Alaska in general, GNRF? XD

I'm going to guess that she stumbles upon the serial killer town, since she's not the kind that would voluntarily go into something like that. Of course, that means that I completely expect her to have some comment about how wherever a member of the BAU goes, they will find a serial killer.

Well, it's not weird if she's going there for vacation or something. But otherwise, yes, it's weird.

A member of the BAU going on vacation without a physical health reason? That's a rare event.

I think this episode is the finale, actually... something I just read about the spinoff said something about this year's cliffhanger (cliffhanger! gah!) taking place in Alaska.

I've known more than one person to go to Alaska so maybe not too strange.Garcia marches to a different beat anyway,I can see her vacationing there.
I hadn't heard about the cliffy taking place there, thanks Tciddaisc.

Wait doesn't she counsel groups of murdered family victims, maybe someone she helps is there and needs to talk, or someone in the group has a friend etc there that needs to talk, she goes there and finds "ohhh look what are the odds that I step in a town with a serial killer in it, time to get the team phone out and scream HELP!"

Course maybe she has a relative there or an old friend is getting married, who really knows with this show other then you know you won't get short changed on it..

LMAO I am not sure what generates more interest, the team as a whole, individually or Garcia leaving the comforts of the tech room. I actually do find it facinating.

Yeah, she does counsel the family of victims (ca. Penelope, at least). I'm imagining that phone call and it's cracking me up. "Uh, hi. Yeah. Have you gotten any requests from towns in Alaska? Can I have some help? kthnx."

Apparently Alaska is one of the states that the show hasn't gone to before. It would be hilarious if that was one of her motivations for going there for a vacation. "Woot, one of the few states without any... aw crap."

How about all of the above, Destiny?

 Nicely done. I could see this Conversation.

Garcia: Hey Hotch (voice strained) umm remember when I asked for time off? Umm, yeah, well, it's like this, please don't let it happen again!

Hotch: (Concerned puts her on speaker) Garcia are you alright?

Garcia (voice pitched higher) Alright, alright, you are the office of the FBI, you are profilers, and your asking if I am ALRIGHT?!?! (hotch tries to say something) Oh I am just peachy, I am only in Alaska a small town, should have known better some very unpositive vibes when I got here, should have turned around and left. But Let me tell you people what is wrong, do you not get faxes, emails, voice mails, facebook, twitter, oh never mind, I am here with a frickin serial killer and I would preferre to not be his next victim thank you very much, cause if that happened no more Garcia the tech, just *sniff* okay think pretty things, positive thoughts, Oh to heck with that, GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!

Disclaimer: This has not, did not, and 99.9% will not happen. But it was fun to write up, and hard to really think like Garcia. :D

Actually, Destiny, while I don't really think that will actually be the dialogue, it sounds a lot like something she'd say.

~ That’s a sucky way to end the night.
~ “I’m allergic to bureaucracy.” I know a few people that wish that was a real medical condition. You’re talking to one. There are six others.
~ If we’re talking about Strauss, then no, she’s not one for thinking outside of the box.
~ I kind of love the dad already. If he ends up dead I’ll be sad. But this is CM, so, y’know…
~ I think Reid’s cut his hair since the last time I saw him. Which is always a good thing. His hair can’t be too short, but I hate when it’s really long.
~ Cute man with an accent? Yes please.
~ Oh. Oh my. I now realize what’s going on here. That’s awesome, Criminal Minds. And completely horrible. I hate you.
~ I’m not completely sold on the lead yet, but I like what I’ve seen of the new team so far.
~ Hee. So your team gets all the credit, Hotch? (I know that wasn’t
~ “So how does a Brit-” “A handsome Brit?” *snicker*
~ Emily’s using her first name again. *approves*
~ Am I the only one that at the moment feels like the BAU is being teamed up with their Other Team counterpart? Hotch the leader is paired with the leader, Emily the foreign ambassador’s kid that grew up overseas is paired up with the Brit, Rossi the kinda-second-in-command is teamed up with the apparently-kinda-second-in-command. Don’t know much about Miss Blond, but her and Morgan both wear leather jackets, so I suppose my theory can extend to them for now.
~ Mick, stop flirting with Emily. You’re lucky you’re cute.
~ “Care to expand on that? All I see are guys clocking junkies.”
~ That would be Emily’s “aw, damn it” face.
~ Emily, you don’t have much luck with cars this season, do you?
~ My guess is that you won’t be being charged with murder, dude. Not that it’ll make you feel any better.
~ “Do you think I’m stupid, Agent Cooper?” “No ma’am, I do not think you’re stupid.”
~ Strauss, give up. I’m betting that right now she’s wondering how she ended up with two teams that seem to try to irritate her.
~ Gina looks a lot like JJ when she’s in profile and slightly blurred.
~ Which, sadly enough, he proved, really.
~ Aw… The dad doesn’t understand.
~ Emily, you’re having a danger-prone day, I see.
~ The family reunion was adorable.
~ “I could’ve just missed.” “With your ego? Not a chance.”
~ “Don’t be insolent. I still plan on reading you and Agent Hotchner the Riot Act when you get back.” I can hear the lighter tone in your voice, Erin. Don’t lie to me.

Emily gets to drive, and Morgan gets an automatic rifle? Heck yes. Although given Emily’s recent luck with cars, that might not be such a great thing.

Well, the majority of my thoughts will have to wait until at least tomorrow. We had a bad storm here and the news stayed on for the first thirty minutes and then they started the show already in progress. But what I did see of it seemed a little Saw-ish. The British guy is pretty cute. He reminds me a little of Colin Farrell. :) Erin always makes me wanna smack her. That is all until I see the episode as a whole. Since I missed the first half, I was flipping back and forth between it and AI.

Thank you HnStetlerfan always happy to make someone else smile. :)

Tciddaisc Thanks, that was hard, Garcia is got that funny, sometimes dry, sometimes off the wall wit that is hard to tap into. I had to think back over some of the eps and I didn't know I could remember that many lol just to get that far. As to the dialog that is why I put in the disclaimer, I wouldn't want someone new or just browsing to get confused to the goofing and think "omg inside info" Kidding.

To think I stopped writing though never did fanfic, just short stories, poems, odes, odes with song lyrics and that. I am rusty though it's been along time sense I did any of that.

Okay as to tonights ep, I am taping it cause I didn't get to see it. It's that time of year where my VCR gets the work out, thats right its Baseball season, so Thankfully I can tape it on the west coast time and not worry about it. :)

The episode was fine, I thought, but it wasn't really CMy. I kind of forgave it for that because it was a backdoor pilot so I didn't expect it to be a normal episode.

I enjoyed the banter between Em and Mick, mostly because he seemed to only be doing it to irritate her. And her responses were very Emily-esque. "What are you wearing?" "A gun."

I couldn't help but grin when Mick sniped the guy at the end, because the look on Emily's face was "I'm never going to hear the end of this, am I?".
