Horatio couldn't understand what was going on with Calleigh. He expertly caught her before she fell when she ripped her dress, but she tore out of his arms and kept running. Horatio pushed passed the confused waiter and her outside and lost track of her. His eyes scanned the area until they came to rest on a small crumpled heap in the parking lot. He slowly approached her. She was sobbing loudly. Horatio wrapped his arms around her protectively. He rocked her gently until her sobbing subdued.
"Hey, hey, hey," Horatio quietly shushed her, "Calleigh, I don't tell you this enough, but I love you with every fiber of my being, and I swear to God that it wasn't someone else on the phone. There is no one else for me. You are the best there is." He grabbed her face in his hands and held her gaze. He tenderly wiped away her tears. "I love you, and nothing is going to change that." He hugged her again and very softly kissed her lips.
"Now, would you like to go back to the hotel, and order in, or go back in there, and get something to eat? Either place we go, I will tell you the truth about what's going on..." he asked her once she had calmed down. He stood and then offered his hand to help Calleigh get off of the hard pavement.
