Character Development/Screentime Discussion

Oh yeah speedy we saw Nick's place in "STALKER", when that scuz bag was spying on him. And we did see Sara's spot before she and Grissom moved into the condo, in "Nesting Dolls" and other times too. What was the name of the episode where Sara came home and there were NO messages on her machine, and she started throwing all her take-out menus in the trash and all her catalogs? then she called someone and asked if they wanted to go out? I hope in S/11. Sara clears up her long distance marriage, very strange indeed:confused:

You've Got Male. I forgot that one too. :confused: I assumed it was Hank she called - didn't they start dating not long after that?

I've known a few married couples who've lived apart for some time (one for a couple of years, because they were different nationalities and it took that long to get immigration approved :rolleyes:). It's unconventional - but Sara and Grissom have always struck me as unconventional anyway.

I'd like to see more episodes with 2 or more crimes, not just a single crime - it's too easy for one or two CSIs to have all the screen time with just one case because they're the lead investigator. Even the 2-case episodes though, there's usually 2 CSIs per case, and then the fifth is barely seen (even back in the "good old days"). These days it's usually Greg - or for eps where Sara isn't there, it's just a single case and we still don't see him enough. :(
 
Agreed. Every once in awhile it's good to have a 1 case episode but not all the time. You're already limited CSIs in a 2 case so forgot a 1 case!

I really like the Greg/Sara interaction. If they would bring Sara back full-time as a regular, she could work with Greg and then we'll see both of them so everyone would be happy.

I agree. I've been watching some of the earlier episodes, when Greg was just starting in the field - Sara was great encouraging and teaching him. I also like both/either of them with Nick. I'd love to see Sara back full-time.
 
Sara is great with Greg, but also with Nick, Ray, Brass, Doc and pretty much all the guys on the team. She seems to work better with the men then with the gals:evil:
 
I would like more Greg screentime. I like his relationship with Sara. And as you all said, Sara gets along with everyone! Just like Greg, They are kinda alike in that matter.

I also liked Greg's relationship with Riley. They kinda looked like they had a crush on each other, but I guess we'll never know if they really did.

And also an explanation why Greg mostly does Archie's job? I like Archie too, he could get more screentime too if you ask me :D

Well the actor Archie Kao was and is doing other projects, I didn't mind Greg doing his job once or twice, but it got old WAY fast and those were often his only scenes, that's all tptb seemed to find Greg useful for in like half of season 9 :scream:
 
Hahahahahaha yeah Sara does work well with all the guys! That's why we need Jorja back in the opening credits alongside Marg!

Yeah, I'm on season 9 now and I often see him in A/V lab. Is it any different in season 10?

And I like the fact that Hodges has more screentime now, he's a cool character and I hope to see his background story in the future.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing Nick or and Greg with a pesonal life maybe a girlfried or two and Dr. Langston's wife, we know little about his private life, and some resolution about his dad, which we've seen bits and pieces~
 
We watched "For Gedda", last night, and I want to know what happened to McKeen, this was S/8, and when the H is his trial? And when he shot Warrick, I was so devastated again.. and the thing is about this low-life, he didn't realize that shooting him did absoutley no good or served no purpose what-so-ever. The rest of the team still went on to investigate the killing of Gedda.. dumb, sad, & heart wrenching episode. And on Greg, he said he'd finished his book about old Vegas, and then we never heard about it again. I'd like to see where that went, and see Greg get some credit for writing this book?

I agree that a followup on McKeen would be great. After all, that was a major event, changing the shape of the show and the team for...well, really the first time since the breakup in Season 5.

I would much rather have a followup to something like that that affected them so much instead of a
Justin whatever story arc with more than one episode.

I couldn't agree with you more! They need to finish old stories before moving onto new ones and putting old on the back burner!
 
I agree too, I don't know why or what the agenda is for bringing this teeny-bopper on CSI:wtf: I won't judge him till I see him, but I would prefer to see old story lines return, they just push them aside and we never have closure, or know what happened to the character:confused:
 
Well, after last nights brief clip of the permiere, I kinda of changed my mind. It was all Justin Bieber, like is he the only one on the season permiere? How rude and what an insult to the rest of the cast, and where were they? I will be glad when this is over and we get back to the real CSI, and story lines. Like what will Nick do, Ray, Cath, Sara, Greg and Hodges, how will he survive without Wendy?
