Beyonce Knowles says she will perform in Malaysia in October, two years after canceling a show in the Muslim majority country after protesters threatened to disrupt the concert because of her sexy image and her clothing. The R&B superstar's up-coming show is already drawing the ire of conservatives in the country in the country, where female performers are required to cover up from the shoulders to the knees with no cleavage showing. Knowles said on her Web site that she will take the stage at a stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's biggest city on Oct. 25 "Beyonce for the first time ever has decided to make Malaysia part of her "I Am" World Tour, her Web site said!

David Caruso's ex girlfriend has agreed to have a lawsuit against him dismissed, claiming "intentional infliction of emotional distress". An attorney for Caruso filed for dismissal last week in Los Angeles. Liza Marquez sued the "CSI/Miami" star in April, claiming he was "emotionally abusive" during their relationship and had promised to pay her $1.2 million. The couple have two children together. No other details were given~

A man accused of stalking singer-songwriter Jewel at her rural Texas ranch said he was on a mission from God:rolleyes: authorities said Tuesday. Michael Lawrence Kozelka of Townsend, Wis, was arrested last week after he went two consecutive days to the 2,000-acre Stephenville ranch owned by Jewel's husband rodeo champ Ty Murray~

REDMOND O'NEAL DRUG CASE

the late Farrah Fawcett's son, was sentenced to a year in a residential drug treatment program. He pleaded no contest against the charges he faced for bringing heroin into a jail facility and was ordered to be moved from prison to a rehab facility.
Well, the time has come and yesterday Redmond was released from jail and sent to an in-patient drug rehab facility.
Judge Jane Godfrey said the 24-year-old Redmond was "doing extremely well."
So he was sent to the Impact Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Pasadena, California, where he'll be required to stay for a year.

The singer has confirmed that she has no plans to tour anymore or record a follow-up to her latest album, It's Not Me, It's You.
"I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade," says the retired singer on her new anti-piracy blog. "The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I'm concerned, so I don't (at this point) stand to profit from legislation."

Kristen Dunst "Spider Man" actress has served as a star witness against a man charged in the theft of her designer purse from a New York City hotel suite while she was on a movie set. The 27-yr. old Dunst on Thursday gave jouors a rundown of the August 2007 theft. She says she was filming the comedy "How To Lose Friends and Alienate People: at the SoHo Grand hotel when she discovered her $2,000 Balanciaga bag and it's contents, including $2,000 in cash were missing. The purse and her credit cards were enventually returned. 35 yr. old James Jimenez is charged with burgarly. His lawyer has pinned the blame on a co-defendant who pleaded guilty to the attempted burgarly~

Randy Quaid and his wife have been arrested in West Texas for allegedly skipping out on a $10,000 California hotel bill [how low-life] Quaid and his wife Evi, were taken into custody Thursday afternoon, according to the Santa Barbara County sheriff's officials, who said authorities in West Texas informed them of the arrest. SBC sheriff's spokesman Drew Sugars says the warrant for Quaid and his wife set bail at $20,00 each. The felony warrant is for buglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy~:(

UK NEWSPAPER OWES LILY ALLEN £10,000

Britain's The Sun is going to pay hot mess Lily Allen£10,000 in damages for publishing an article with false statements they claimed were made by the soon-to-be former singer. The Sun ran an article back in May saying that Lily called Victoria Beckham "a monster" and Cheryl Cole"stupid and superficial" as well as making snide comments about her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole.


The comments were first published in a French sports magazine, So Foot, where The Sun lifted them from and then published the story called "Ranting Lily."
A rep from The Sun says that "we now accept that Lily didn't say these things to the magazine and we apologize to Lily for the upset and embarrassment caused by repeating them."
Lily is still pursuing legal action with So Foot, but no deal has been reached yet.



ED NORTON RUNNING NYC MARATHON FOR AFRICAN CHARITY

Edward Norton is planning to run this year's New York City Marathon to fundraise for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust in east Africa.
Joining the actor will be three Maasai warriors themselves, two of which will be making their first trip to the big city!
Norton's been involved with the MWCT for 10 years and is now serving as president of the Board. The money raised will go towards the conservation, education and health care in the east African region.

MICHAEL JACKSON is still playng to sell out crowds. Advance screenings to the music documentary "Michael Jackson: This Is It", sold out withint two hojurs early Sunday as fans who began lining up all 3,000 tickets to the Los Angeles shows. The documentary opens nationwide Oct. 28, but fans will get a sneak peek the night before in screenings at the new Regal Cinemans stadiun 14. For the theater's grand opening, the cinema will show "This Is It" on all 14 screens that night. Directed by longtime Jackson collaborator Kenny Ortega, "This Is It" draws on hundreds of hours of footage as Jackson prepared for a series of London concerts for which he was rehearsing before his death on June 25~

A discovery in a Livepool library has revealed that Paul McCartney also has a talent for writing, and he was winning prizes when he was just 10:wtf: it was an essay about the Queen. A British researcher said he found an essay written--in very tidy, curling script--by the future Beatle for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth 2. Kevin Roach said Sunday that he found the work in records at Liverpool's Central Library. Roach said the writing is "advanced", you would say it was writeen by someone who was older than 10, more like 14 or 15.McCartney won the under 11 age category of the essay competition~ [we all know he's brilliant]:thumbsup:

Plus it has been confirmed that they will be (in time) re-releasing Harry Potter 1-5 on DVD. The extended versions :bolian: they will include all of the deleted scene's in their place rather than only accessible through the Special Features disc :D

It shows Jackman breaking character and says to the owner of the ringing cell phone "You want to get that"? as the audience erupts in cheers. [jerk] Jackman pleads "Come on, just turn it off"~:rolleyes:

PAUL NEWMAN's daughter says her father liked to joke about his tradmark blue eyes, musing that if they turned brown his career might be in jeopardy. Nell Newman's father died a year ago at age 83. She says he considered himself lucky and wanted to give His daughter gave a rare glimpse into the actor's life Monday in an interview with Th Associated Press. Her company, Newmans Own Organics, is highlighting it's partnership with McDonald's Corp., where it sells coffee. She says her father enjoyed pratical jokes~

Enormous coffee franchise Starbucks has started selling one-serving pocket packs of starbucks coffee in various (delicious) flavours :) critics say that they're as good as the Batista brewed blends, and add that it works out to cost around $1/cup as opposed to Starbucks in-store brews which average out at just under $5/cup

Tawny Kitaen has been arrested for investigation of driving under the influence.

Kitaen, 48, who recently appeared on the VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, was arrested Saturday when officers suspected she was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Newport Beach Police Sgt. Shontel Sherwood told the Associated Press.

Kitaen was released after posting $2,500 bail.

The actress is best known for her appearances in the 1984 Tom Hanks film, Bachelpr Party, and atop a sports car in a music video for future husband David Coverdale's band Whitesnake.

A New York jury deadlocked Friday on the most serious charge against a mechanic who said he was misled into taking part in the theft of Kirstin Dunst's $2,000 handbag during a Manhattan movie shoot. James Jimenez was convicted of a misdeameanor count of trespassing, but jurors deadlocked on burglary and other charges in the case. It was't immediatley clear whether the 35-yr. old would be retried on the burlgary charge in the August 2007 theft. It came while the 2008 comedy "How To Lose Friends & Alienate People" was being filmed at the SoHo Grand Hotel. For now, he remains free on $50,000 bail at least until his Nov. 13 sentencing date on the criminal trespass count.~

A lawyer for John Travolta denied Friday that he tried to set up a former Bahamas senator who is on trial for allegedly attempting to extort $25 million for the movie star[SHAMEFUL] Attorney Michael McDermott told court he was following police instructions when he secretly recorded conversations with Plesant Bridgewater, who is accused of demanding the money on behalf of a paramedic who treated the actor's son Jett, following a seizure that led to his death. The recordings are expected to be played in court next week. Prosectors say the former senator and the paramedc, Tariono Lightborne. later agreed to accept $10 million in installments. McDermott's testimony came in response to suggestions by Bridgewater's defense attorney, Murrio Ducille, that after the death he traveled to the Bahamas with the "sole mission" of setting up Bridgewater~[poor John:(]

David Letterman apologized to his wife on Monday's "Late Show" saying she had been "horribly hurt" by his behavior. Letterman vowed to repair his relationship with his wife Regina Lasko. "Let me tell you folks, I got my work cut out for me" he said, according to an early transcript of the program released by CBS. Monday's show was the first Letterman had taped since Thursday, when he disclosed that he had had sexual relationships with women who worked for him, and said he had been the victim of a $2 million blackmail threat. During the hour, he also apologized to his staff. "Inadvertently, I just wasn't thinking ahead. "My thank's to the staff for, once again putting up with something stupid I've gotten myself involved in"~ [whatever]:rolleyes:

Police say reality TV star Nicole Richie has been hurt in a traffic accident in Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills police Lt. Mike Hall says that Richie, 28, was driving a Land Rover on Wilshire Blvd. on Monday, when she was rear-ended by a photographer who was driving without a license. Hill says Richie complained of pain but said she would seek her own treatment and no ambulance was called. He also says the 29-yr. old photograher, Edwardo Arrivebene, was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license. Hill did no know if there were any passengers in the vehicle~

Miley Cyrus has quit Twitter, leaving her fans puzzled over her abrupt exit. The teen pop star was one of the most popular people on the microblogging site, with more than 1.1 mllion followers. But the account for the 16-yr. old Cyrus is no longer available. In one of her last posts, she wrote that Liam Hemsworth her co-star in the up-coming film "The Last Song" wanted her to delete her Twiter account "with good reason". Fans of Cyrus have organized on Twitter under heading "mileycomeback" which was one of the most popular topics on the site Thursday~

Elizabeth Taylor is feeling fine after a heart procedure. The 77-year old actress says in a Thursday Twitter that the treatment "went off perfectly, and she feels like she has a brand new ticker" earlier in the week, Taylor tweeted she'd be going into the hospital for the procedure [no mention of what kind of procedure] and asked her 164,239 followers for their prayers~
