Well maybe there is who knows... It is interesting to think that Catherine could might be bicurious...or even bisexual.. WE all know that she likes men, but there was also an attraction to Lady Heahter... Catherine is a strong, independant woman, who probably went into fluster over load when Wendy asked her out.

For all the seasons, Catherine has been known as someone who sleeps with a person first, then asks their name... When Wendy came along, it tipped the status quo, Wendy is just as intelligent, and strong as Catherine.

I think Catherine could very well be bisexual. But I think she is always used to being the confident one, all around the lab really, so when Wendy came along she was just like, hang on a minute, and was shocked, it did tip the status quo as you say. Wendy does appear to be just as strong and intelligent as Catherine, and I think it'd be really interesting to see how Cath feels about that.

I think it's interesting she didn't actually say no to Wendy when she asked her out, i think if someone like say Henry, or Hodges (bad example) had asked her out on their first day, it would just have been "thanks, but erm, no"

We do have a lot of male ships, predominantly more than female, but hey, this ship is good :D

I think the reason that Catherine was flustered to start with is that Wendy just started talking & rambling on as if the two were old friends right away. I don't think Cath was used to that - especially since Wendy took over for Mia, who was much more subdued. Since then, though, Wendy seems to ramble on in a nervous kind of way when talking to Catherine.

SpikeTV recently reran Lab Rats (I think is the name of it), where Cath calls and Hodges, Wendy & Henry are scared to answer the phone. When Hodges answers and says "wendy hasn't been around all day", Wendy wrestles the phone from him. She an excited look on her face when she hears it's Catherine.

I remember Marg talking in that 'prison' interview from USA Today about Liz/Wendy getting more screen time upcoming, and how Liz is a lot of fun. I hope they get to work together a lot more.

Oh yeh, I watched Lab Rats the other week, that was really cute how Wendy seemed as if she needed the phone off Hodges, she really wanted to talk to Cath ;) And that prison interview, i remember now- I think it'll be really interesting next season, if they get to work together more.

I was going to say more but i don't know if it's a spoiler, and I can't get the spoiler tags to work :( (how do I do it? )
 
Ah well as long as its speculation and what we would like Cath and Wendy then its ok..right?

There really hasnt been that much interaction between the two females, unless because I've been knee deap in other slasher stuff I've not noticed....

Ok question for all you femslashers, what scene would you like our two Hot heads that men cant handle to be in?
 
I'd like to see some old fashion crime reenactment they do together.
The victim and suspect would both be female, so Catheine would just grab Wendy by the wrist and drag her into a free lab to help her proof the killer must have been a woman her size and built. Of course, the scene would include some very close body contact between them.

Hmm...sounds like a fic idea... :D

I was just thinking that if Wendy might possibly be going into the field, then she's going to need someone to help her out a bit, like Sara did with Greg, and it would be fantastic for us if Cath was the one to show her the ropes etc ;)

Maybe a situation where they both have to go out clubbing or something (wouldn't happen becuase it'd be undercover police but shhh lol) and they have to go dancing etc to catch the eye of the killer. But that's not as good as Miacharlize's idea..

So...I don't think Catherine is straight completely, I never have. I mean, she likes men, sure, but I think not only is she open-minded, maybe partly as a result of the work she used to do, but she needs something a little more exciting/challenging than a man can offer her...enter Wendy :p These are two strong, intelligent, charismatic ladies and just complement each other perfectly.

I think Wendy may not even be that interested in men at all, or at least since she met Cath...she's a little more unsure around her though...that scene where she talks to Catherine about hugging is priceless. It's there from the start. Chemistry!

How would I like to see them...hmm...for some reason the first thing that comes into my head is as simple as Wendy carrying a load of stuff and someone trips her up, she drops everything right in front of Catherine, who crouches down to help her pick everything up, eyes meet and...yeah.

Or if Wendy had to, for some reason, remove some item of Catherine's clothing for her, like she does with Nick in Rashomama. Only, with considerably more sexual tension of course. Ahem.

Damn it Girl, you took the words right out of my mouth... I like how you think... Yeah with regarding Catherine, and especially her past, she is open to suggestions. With Wendy, well she might be curious enough to try the female touch....:thumbsup:
 
I definately think that Catherine's past will have made her more open minded, and lets be honest, the men she's been with have been pretty much awful to her... And Wendy come along, and is kind of in her face a little and Cath would just be thinking' oh right ok', and the obvious chemistry in that first scene came from that.

I'm not so sure about Wendy, I think it's obvious that she likes Catherine, but whether she's only ever been into women, or men before, or has been with both, or just is curious, I'm not so sure.

p.s. biscuits :D:D *takes a couple for my coffee ;) *

Oh yeah...couldn't agree more. She has been dumped on from a great height by pretty much every man she has been involved with, and she could easily be getting to a point where she has had enough. Especially with the whole Warrick thing that never really got off the ground, and now...hmm. She needs someone who will be good to her and also provide some much-needed excitement :devil:

We don't know that much about Wendy's past do we? Which is good, 'cause it could be anything...I think she could definitely make Catherine curious, Candygirl1uk :p

Um...are there any fics that feature Cath/Wendy? Or do I have to write one myself?

if Wendy goes out training to be a CSI in season 9 like Marg said in an interview, then it'd give both time for us to learn more about Wendy's past, and also give us more Cath/Wendy scenes:)

I just watched a scene in TGTBATD and Cath Sara and Wendy are talking, and Wendy is almost constantly looking at Cath, and as soon as Cath leaves the room Wendy does, she can't get out of there quick enough! It was as if Sara wasn't there.

And I think you may have to write one ;) I may try after exams have finished, but my writing usually isn't that good, and my completion rate on fics isn't great ;)

Actuarly funny enought, yeah I can see that working because as we know so little of a character, its all good for our ship.

What season and episode is that from? I think that it would most certainly be a fresh of air, a sense of flowers and all good grily things if we did see Catherine and Wendy socialise out side work.

Yeah Catherine and Wendy are two powerful intelligent hot women.. (made of each other!) Of course Wendy needs to be there for Catherine cause she will need to be distructed from Warrick...(death? deminse? coma? ), and of course Catherine can swot Hodges away from Wendy...

Oh and Sara's_girl... Curiosity is all good..

Ah, brilliant, I am watching that epi right now! I love that scene too, I had forgotten about it though. When Catherine is in the room with her, she does seem to get most of her attention.

Re spoiler - I would love that. Catherine could be showing Wendy the ropes at work, and....um...I think Wendy might have a thing or two she could show Catherine :devil:

I can write a fic...but I can't guarantee the quality of my writing either. As you know I'm a hardcore Nick/Greg shipper and I don't remember the last time I wrote femslash. But I think I might, because the N/G thing I'm writing is hurting my head. Do you have any requests? :)

Candygirl - it certainly is, and not knowing too much about a character's background is good too, I agree, we can fill in our own blanks! The epi Bubbles is talking about is The Good the Bad and the Dominatrix from S7.
