"I’m having a great time. I um I really like you. You’re really beautiful."

Did he really just say that? Natalia rested her head on his shoulder. "Wow... I like you too. I really do." He wrapped his arm around her back and they just sat there. A million things were going on in Natalia's head. As much as she wanted to enjoy the moment, she was too happy yet confused at the same time.
 
Ryan had a strange feeling going through his body. He was nervous being with her like this but yet it felt good. They sat talking about everything but work, neither bringing up the problems they have been having. He looks down at his watch,” wow it’s really getting late. Are you ready to leave? I’m pretty sure I’m sober enough to drive.”
 
After a while, Ryan suggested that they got home. No one realized how much time went by. "Your right it is. I'm ready if you're ready. Lets go." The got up and walked back to the parking lot, hopped in the car and drove to Natalia's house. He walked her to her front step. "I know this was just supposed to be a normal dinner, but I really had a great time Ryan, thanks." She said rather quiet. She hated this part of the night. How do you know if you should hug or kiss the other person?
 
They get to her house and she tells him she had a great time. He did too and he was surprised by how great it was.
“I had a great time too Natalia. Are you ready for the concert tomorrow? I think it’s going to be great too. I haven’t been to a concert in ages.” He was nervous and rambling on. He wasn’t sure how to end the night.
Then he remembers something and looks around,” um…we forgot about your car, it’s still at work. Do you want me to drive you to it now? If you want I could just pick you up in the morning and we could car pool to work.”
 
Natalia smacks her forehead. "Oh, right" She chuckled. "Well whatever is easiest. You probably don't want to go back to the lab now. So could you drive me tomorrow?" He nodded. "Ok, well thanks." She gave him a quick hug as she was so nervous. "I'll see you tomorrow morning then." She unlocked the door and stepped inside.
 
They agree on him picking her up for work then she gives him a quick hug.

"Just a hug?" He thinks as she steps into her house.

"Ok. I'll see you early then tomorrow. I'll be here by 6. Is that ok? I'd like to get there a little early so I can go over some things with Delko." He says looking at her as she slips into her house.
 
Natalia saw the letdown in Ryan's eyes when she hugged him. This time she was more confident.

"That'd be great. Oh, and I almost forgot..." She walked out from her door and kissed him on the lips. Ryan just stood there, completely shocked. "Thanks again." She said, while she once again, stepped into her house and shut the door.

[:eek: *runs away from angry CaRwashers.* I'm sorry!!! But I guess it's angst righttt?]
 
While waiting for her response about the time he was caught off guard by her coming back out and landing a kiss on his lips then thanking him again.
He was shocked but not upset at all.
"Yeah thanks too and your welcome." He blurts out just as she shuts the door on him.
On his drive home he jammed his music trying to clear his mind of everything going on in his life. But no matter how loud the music was or how hard he tried, his mind kept wondering back to his problems and maybe something new and great in his life. The next morning he wakes up feeling better then he has in such a long time. But then he looks at the clock seeing it say its 6:10,” shit I forgot to set the alarm.” He jumps out of bed running for the shower. He’s never showered so fast in his life. He’s ready in 10 minutes, a record for him. He grabs his cell calling Boa,” damn answering machine”…”Natalia I’m sorry I over slept. I’m on my way right now. Give me 15 minutes.” He slams the cell shut running for his car. He thinks about putting his lights on just so he doesn’t get pulled over but then he knows that's not right to do either.
He pulls up to her house and blows his horn,” come on, come on. You should be ready Natalia.”
 
After getting a not-so great sleep, Natalia finally got up. She noticed she had a message on her machine. It was Ryan, saying he would be there in 15. "Oh my God." How could I have slept through that!? Probably because she couldn't sleep at all a few hours before. Half the night she just sat in her bed thinking of everything that happened, and wondering what was going to happen the next day. Not to mention what she was going to wear the next day. She wanted to impress Ryan, and not make him regret inviting her to dinner. He called her beautiful, and she wanted to live up to his expectations.

She had a small muffin and some coffee before she brushed her teeth and touched up her make-up. She was in the process of reapplying her mascara when Ryan honked his horn. She looked out the window. "Shit," she mumbled, as she ran down the stairs grabbing her purse. She locked her door and climbed into the car. "Hey."
 
He taps his steering wheel impatiently waiting for her. He looks at his watch,” damn it’s 6:39, so much for getting to work early.” He mutters to himself.
He had told Boa he wanted to get to work early to talk to Delko about the case. The truth was he didn’t want to go in early to talk to Delko. He wanted to get there early before Calleigh so she didn’t see him driving Natalia to work. He knew she would be upset, even though she seemed to hate him now. He didn’t have to be at work until 7:00 and at this point he was just going to make it there in time, if she ever comes out. Finally she slips into his front seat next to him.

He glances over at her,” hi, sorry I’m late. Some how I forgot to turn on my alarm clock last night. I guess I had a lot on my mind.” He says as he pulls away from her house.
 
"It's fine. I needed the extra time. I didn't get much sleep either. So much for talking to Delko." They finally arrived at the lab and got out of the car. Calleigh was just entering the front doors when they got out. Natalia hoped she would notice them arriving together. She almost wanted to call out her name but that would make it akward for Ryan. "So do you want to walk in at different times or something?" She asked. Just because she knew he probably hated walking in with her. People would get suspicious.
 
As they pulled into the parking lot Ryan noticed Calleigh getting out of her car and she looked right at them. He could see by the look on her face she saw Natalia in his car.
He parks his car,” I can catch him later I guess, it wasn’t really that important.”
He watches as Calleigh makes her way to the building in a hurry, glancing back towards his car. He looks over at her,” no we can walk in together, it’s no big deal. I don’t care what people think.” He smiles at her and she starts to get out,” hey…you look really nice today.” He gives her a slight wink then opens his door.
 
Calleigh noticed both of them in the car, and Natalia couldn't be happier. Wait she could. Ryan said he didn't care what people think, and that she looks really nice. She turned tomato red. "Aw, thanks. Thats really sweet." She turned her head and opened the door. She hoped he wouldn't see her face. "I'm really excited for the Aerosmith concert. I can't believe it's today already." She mentioned as they walked towards the lab.
 
He strolls along side of her with a smile on his face. It's the first time in he couldn't remember how long he came to work with a smile. “Yeah it's going to be great. Hopefully we'll both get out on time. We should seeing we lost our cases.”
They start up the steps and he opens the door for her,” so I thought we'd go to that Cafe across from the concert and grab some food then hit the show."
He looks up and down her body at her clothes," did you bring a change of cloths for the show? I mean you’re not going to wear that right? High heels and a beautiful outfit like that wouldn't exactly be concert wear."
 
She steps in the lab ahead of him, "Sure. That place has the best salad. It's to die for." They walk down the hall and a few people turn their heads, but neither of them seem to care. At first Natalia thought Ryan was checking her out, but then he said she shouldn't go to the concert wearing those clothes. "Oh, damn! No, I didn't I was in such a hurry I just... Forgot. Sorry, i'm totally unorganized."
