[Oops, I never had a hangover... what do you do with it? Oh well, forget aspirin... And tell me if I mess up Valera's history or whatever]
Valera looked at him and his pointed finger, "Hey it was you who bumped into me." She shook her head, almost wanted to laugh. This guy really had some serious issues...
He looked so pale, but as much as she was concerned about her friend, she didn't think he would appreciate the attention. She wasn't even sure either if he thought of her as a friend. It wasn't like he got along with a lot of people... For instance Delko.
It reminded her of when she got suspended. It wasn't his fault though but she was upset.
She thought she could at least be friendly. It wasn't like she had tons of friends in the lab either... but each one of them counts.
Looking at Ryan, he could sense something about this man. The way he looked at Calleigh earlier, and things she had noticed before. When they were both in her lab, Valera would even notice his lingering stare at Calleigh... She wasn't the best reader when it comes to people, but with Ryan it was obvious.
When she thought about it, Ryan and Calleigh would make a good couple, if they would just admit it.
Walking down the hallway to the DNA lab, she thought to herself. Was it wrong to offer him to talk? It wasn't like they were good friends or anything. It would be weird for him. And it wasn't like she wanted to know his problems anyway. But he reminded him of someone she knew. And she thought, hey, everyone needs someone to talk to. It doesn't matter. She might as well just offer an honest help.
She shrugged it off as she entered the DNA lab. There were a lot more important things to worry about.
