Ugh! I so hate triangles! I refer to them as LTFH's or "Love Triangles from Hell". They are so annoying. Every show just has to have them or almost every show. Why are they such a neccesity? Talk about something that's old and tired.

BTW, if anyone's interested, the CAKE related chapter is up on the fic board. The fic is called "Acting on Impulse and Love".

Welcome to the thread GregNickRyan. I don't know how Stetler even has the authority to do so, especially since the controversy between him and Horatio over Yelina. Thanks for the fic, I will check it out.

I like Frank and all, but I also want TPTB to do some Jake centric detective episodes, and Cake investigative teamwork for future episodes.

Well we all know Stetler noses into whatever he wants even if he has no autority. As you said with Calleigh and Jake he hadn't that kind of authotiy especially because of his controversial relationship with Yelina:rolleyes:.
Also in " Stand Your Ground" he noses into Calleigh's alcohol level only to keep his money (the money of the department) safe from a suit:rolleyes:

Exactly...I love Frank but honestly I think it's time to give some work also to Jake. He's a detective from MDPD...it's impossible they don't give him any kind of case in their county:). What are they paying him for, if they don't let him investigate???

Our dear Stetler is just jealous cause he has no one, & no one wants him.
Maybe he just made up the rule himself to cause trouble with the lab.
He sees Eric & Natalia hugging in the lab, it irritates him cause he is a loser & only has interaction with women made of rubber...then he finds out also that there's Calleigh & Jake....more reason for him to stir up trouble!!!!
Not only does he have one pairing he can kill but TWO!!!
So much irony in that little scene, isn't there;)

So maybe this rule really doesn't exist & it's just Stetler giving us more reason to love/hate him!!:cool:

Im still waiting for a disk with CAKE's name on it from that PI guy, it'd be nice to see it resurfaced somehow, what better way than to have that sneaky little guy have his hands on pics of CAKE outside the lab:drool:
They need to give us something here ..this is insane. Calleigh has yet to look like she has moved on from Jake, so they badly need to throw this in, cause to me it's very obvious what it looks like. She doesn't look like a person who is falling in love with another, everytime I see her I just think she is trying to figure out a way to say she is still with Jake, without hurting *ahem* someone, & without getting herself & Jake busted for the second time.

Ok, I must edit cause that avi just gave me the best idea in making CAKE resurface!!
All this time everyone (except us) thinks CAKE is no more then Calleigh pulls a Sam from Without A Trace & comes up pregnant!!!! Then she would HAVE to tell them about her & Jake!!
Normally I couldn't really see her character being pg but I could totally go for that scenario!!

Ok I thinks there's still a little possibility for a CaKe CD to appear:devil:. We know Calleigh isn't getting in love with anyone else and we know she's still having a relationship with Jake.
They won't show us the relationship well at least they have to show us that Jake is still alive and he's taking care of his Calleigh.
If a CD is the only way to show CaKe is still existing.....I need that CD:brickwall:

Yeah I think it would be cute to see Calleigh one day coming to the lab..ill and then we'll find out she's pregnant. How would everyone react??? Most important question....what happened??? How will Calleigh answer to that question??
In my opinion this would be one of the best things ever that could happen to Calleigh and to our CaKe.
I mean we don't know anything about what happened between these two in this year. All we know is that they were having a hidden relationship (it's so romantic). Now with a baby arriving they would have to answer to a lot of questions:p
I don't know if I can see Calleigh pregnant :lol: but still this scenario is lovely.

:lol: I know, I don't think I could ever really picture it either, but there needs to be a great way for them to resurface CAKE w/ something really good, cause I don't think she'll ever come right out & say it. Could she? Probably not considering this retarded rule.

Maybe there could be a twist w/ a murder investigation or robbery, drug dealing (that'd be cool) & Jake is somehow the suspect. Of course he wouldn't have anything to do with it, though.
The CSIs go to search Jake's home & find some of Calleigh's belongings there, possibly something with her DNA on it.;)
Then we could get some answers, she'd be forced to confess they're still together & have been all along. I could go for some Jake drama.

aww, imagine him in lock-up & Calleigh freaking out not knowing what to do.:p

I would love Cake action, but I don't think I want Jake as a suspect, so a certain someone won't badmouth Jake's integrity to Calleigh, and place a drain on Cake's relationship.
I hope for Cake solving crimes together, and looking hot and passionate while doing it. :devil:

I have to agree the baby is so adorable. The baby is from an episode of Bones.

Now the Disc with the CaKe information is a really cool idea. Because you know if the PI was as good as he claimed to be that there would be one. That’s an interesting way of bringing Jake back into the story. Hmmmm…… I’m going to have to think about that one somemore.

The whole "disk" thing threw me off, i can understand the Horatio/Julia/Ron ones because of what was coming up in the finale but then Eric pulled one out of his own:wtf: Maybe it was just one about his therapy seesions, I don't know.
Still...there could be more later than what we have seen with those cds.
Maybe one with the truth about CAKE.
I think it would be great to see them "out" thier relationship that way, it'd be an exciting little twist to all that's going on.

But then how will they work around the rule if it IS outted? How will we kill Stetler & stuff him in a trunk without getting caught?:vulcan:

Well Lambchop I don't think there could be another way things could go especially with this CD. If they mention a CD about Calleigh and Jake (probably the person who found it was...) in my opinion this could be only a positive sign for our couple. Oh yeah they will have troubles with Stetler but we all know how to handle him:p.

See??? There are a lot of ways to mention the guy and they're relationship....if only TPTB think about them:rolleyes:

I wasn't talking about the CaKe CD going down a different way. I mean the relationship end. Instead of having CaKe, but something else. How were TPTB going to deal with the OTHER relationship on the show if they are saying that CaKe is wrong. If you can't have one relationship, how can you have the other?

I mean CSI Vegas made Sara move to days after the department found out about Grissom and Sara. Are they going to make one of the CSI's on CSI Miami move to graveyard??? If so, which one?

Well if CaKe ends I thinks there's no possibility for other relationships to go on.
Right now CaKe is the strongest couple of the show who's handling Stetler's rule by hiding their relationship. No one was able to do it before also because this rule didn't exist.
Honestly I'm trying to imagine other possible couples without CaKe and I have to say I'm not able to find them.
We know a possible couple but I won't talk about it cause I think everyone knows my opinion about it;)

They'd better not to make one of the CSI's on CSI Miami move to graveyard:mad:. I can't imagine anyone leaving the lab because of this rule. I can imagine someone leaving it for other things but not for this rule.
