You know, I'm really finding the dialogue SO much better this season. Or at least so much better than the start of last season. During the first half of last year, I was seriously considering giving up the show, but they rallied for the second half (except for that finale which I hated) and this season has been ROCKING. I don't know what happened for that short period of suckiness, but I'm so happy my old Bones is back.

Well, it seems I won't be going out of town afterall. I had everything packed up (well nearly everything), but in the middle of the night I woke up feeling very icky. I hope its just a sinus infection, but this being flu season and all, I didn't want to make my family sick, so I decided it was best if I stayed home.

I agree with you, Baba that the dialogue is much better this season. I hope they keep it up too.

I laughed so loud when Daisy & Brennan got all excited about the mummy...it was freakin hilarious :guffaw:

Booth is bothered by Bones going out with his boss...oh poor baby, he needs a hug

The look on Andrew's face when Bones brought up Booth was priceless...oh yeah dude you overstepped your boundries :lol:

The meatloaf story...awww....the look on Booth's face was heartbreaking, I felt so bad for him. I loved his line, what's between us is ours...awww

I think Booth was trying to look down Brennan's dress :lol:

You know, I sort of found Daisy a little more endearing this episode. She finally showed a little backbone and wasn't just being annoying... or at least not as much! They seem to have done that with all the interns- I couldn't stand Mr. Nigel-Murray at first but he totally grew on me. Clark too. I still prefer Wendell though, because he's the least weird and was always quite likable.

I knew that they wouldn't actually kiss... because there would have been articles in entertainment magazines SCREAMING about it beforehand, and I saw/read nothing of the sort... but it was still frustrating when they were, like, 2 INCHES AWAY FROM EACH OTHER and then the damn squint squad busted in.

I actually screamed at them... and then my mother asked, from the other room, "yelling at the TV people again?"

I really like that Brennan took to heart what Booth said - "what's between us is ours." She usually doesn't care about or comprehend "sentimental" stuff like that, but she totally got it in this case and it was so cute!

And yeah, Brennan was OOC in this episode, what with the giggling and the goofy movie reenactment and the moony looks she was giving Booth's bosses boss. But I'm OK with it... as long as it's not a recurring thing. I like Brennan as she usually is.

One more thing - I loved how Booth was explaining to his bosses boss that Brennan doesn't feel pressured to act or say or do anything she doesn't want to, that NO ONE can make her, and that's what makes her Bones... and at the end of his little speech, he got that wistful, smiling look on his face, like he'd been talking about some brilliant superheroine... and like he luvs her! :adore:

[[edit]] Yeah, I found Daisy to be quite tolerable in this episode too. She shouldn't be TOO hard on Sweets for teaching her basic interaction skills. She was in serious need.

When Booth said something about the mummy coming to life and killing someone, the thought that jumped into my head was: "Uh oh. Where's Rick O'Connell when you need him?" :lol:

Loved the end moment.

And yay for Diedrich Bader! Love that guy!

Daisy was all right, but she didn't really have any right to tell Sweets off. Yes, he was not trusting her but who could? I did like her having a personality besides bubbly, glad to know she has other emotions such as anger

Now speaking of growing backbones, I want Sweets to do it sometimes very soon. I wrote on JFD's myspace that he needs to talk to HH about having his character going through an angry phase (it was more like about Sweets' past, but the anger thing could easily be worked in!)

I absolutely loved the scene where Booth was telling his boss about Brennan :adore: I agree, Spoooky, he seemed like he was a child amazed by a superhero (-ine, in this case)

I hope we see Brennan like this more often, but I don't want this to become a regular thing. Because if the writers are going to do that, they might as well bring in another character and write off Brennan 0_o

Okay, really? How more obvious could it have been that SOMEONE was going to interrupt them? Sure, I would have liked for them to kiss, but I gave up on that a while ago. It'll happen, but not now.

Otherwise, what seemd most OOC to me about Brennan was her not turning Andrew down when Booth told her to.

I loved her and Daisy spazzing about the mummy. Brennan's always loved ancient remains. It was cute.

And, Wendell is by far my favorite Squintern, but I love Daisy. Especially in this episdoe. She's freaking ADORABLE. And I love her and Sweets together.

All in all, it was a REALLY good episode... Especially the "What happens between us is ours" thing. I can't wait for Novemeber to come, although for once I am excited by this hiatus... I have a lot of story to catch up on.

I don't think Andrew got the hint. I dont' even think he realized that while he was out on a date with Brennan, she was talking about BOOTH. DUH!!

I can't wait for next week's episode. Interested to see how David works out with this BIRD episode. He said on David Letterman that he has a phobia of birds and really didn't want to do the episode. I wonder if they wrote that fear in with Booth??
