padres lost to the d-backs 7-5! ughhhhh. so i went out to play softball at night with the cousins and when we left their house...it was 5-1! thats weakkkkkk. well tonite...PEAVY'S PITCHING [and he's hott] so this`ll be pretty sweeeet...hopefully.

The Cubs are having some pitching problems this season. A few of their pitcher are having problems with the shoulders and elbows. That sucks because it's really affected the way they're playing.

I don't think Dusty mean't they were just giving the game away. I think he mean't that the Dodgers were playing hard as hell and you have to respect that.

Although I am a die-hard Red Sox fan, I still don't see how people can think Johnny Damon is hot. I mean he's a great player, but women here swoon over him...I just don't get it.
Now, Gabe Kapler, on the other hand, has a body to die for, and he is fine!

Looks like the Dodgers trounced the Cubs again 7-0.

The Padres are back at .500 again but I think the NL West winner will come down to the wire.

That NL west race has been rather interesting to say the least this year. I agree it will come down to the final week of play.

Cubs traded Holly to the Braves. I am so low over this.

I noticed that last night when I was watching the Braves game with my boyfriend, jazzfan! I was like, "WHEN THE HELL DID THE CUBS TRADE HOLLINGSWORTH?" Who did the Cubs trade him for? Ugh. I can't believe it. Atleast he went to my second favorite team. But I'm still mad about it.

That's how I felt when the Dodgers traded Hollandsworth a few years ago to the Rockies. He sure has moved around a lot in the past few years.

I like Hollandsworth. He's a pretty good hitter. I think the Cubs are making a mistake but whatever... :lol:

He said the reason he played for Chicago was because his wife wanted to go back home (she's from Chicago). So he played for them.

And I was pretty pissed when the Rockies traded him away to...whoever the heck it was.

But then the Rockies have traded away darned near everyone we've ever had, so we get used to it after a while.
