As a Dodger fan that doesn't surprise me at all. They started out this season the best and then they just fell apart. The Cubs, my second favorite team decided to follow suit. I haven't really enjoyed baseball too much this season.

What's even more surprising is the Dodgers are still tied for second with the D'Backs.

I'm really upset I haven't been to a baseball game yet. I've been trying to but I've been extremely busy. :/

Dodgers-Cubs series starting tonight. As much as I like the Cubs, I just can't go against my Dodgers.

The Dodgers beat the Cubs 9-6. This is one of those cases where I hate to see anyone lose.

Read somewhere yesterday that Dusty Baker said when your team has no chance at the playoffs, you must respect other teams trying to get into the playoffs. I just took it as if they are not going to try to beat a team that is in the playoff picture. Maybe I'm wrong, but that disturbs me if that is their intent.

Ocean those Dodgers really wooped 'em good. :(

That sounds like throwing a game, and I'm pretty sure MLB frowns on it.

I can't imagine anyone, Dusty Baker especially, not trying to beat his opponent, regardless of what either team's playoff prospects are or are not. Play for pride, if nothing else.
