I'm a Colorado native, so I root for all of our local teams, even when they suck (which is, alas, frequent).

I like the Cubs, too, although I think it was partly because I had a crush on Mark Grace. Now that he's gone, it's just not the same.

I also had a run-in with a Cubs fan once, who thought it was okay to talk trash about my team, but nobody was allowed to rubbish her precious Cubs, and that pissed me off. It goes both ways, sweetheart. But that was a few years ago, and I'm over it now. :)

And I will never, EVER be a Yankees fan. :p

Sorry, dude. But here in chicago, the unwritten rule is NEVER EVER talk trash about the Cubbies. :p ever.

Yeah, but...we weren't in Chicago. We were here, in Colorado. Where, if you're gonna talk trash about our teams, you've gotta suck it up and listen to us talk trash about your team. That's just the way the world works... :devil:

(BTW, I'm assuming the "dude" was just an expression, but just in case...I'm a "ma'am." :D )
 
The Marlins beat the StL cards. Now, I'm getting nervous. ;)

This hasn't been a good season for my team. The Dodgers are so far out and my second fave, the Cubs, can't seem to win either.

The NL West is basically pathetic this season.

but Padres won today 2-1 and are #1 again in the NL West! i`m going to the game tomorrow!!! [friday] against the Phillies. WHEEEE!

did anyone see that nasty clip from today's game though with the 2 Mets outfielders diving into eachother?! that was crazy!
 
I think I'm the first one here to say GO PHILLIES! I like the Cubs too, they r my 2nd fav.

Phillies won the series and now are 1 1/2 games away from wildcard! for the first game I had to stay up late to watch it. But I still watched it!

:lol: The Cubbies started out pretty dang good this season. They have some good guys this season too. Then they fell into a sort of slump and they haven't really gotten out of it completely.
