I did watch Alex in an episode of Night Stalker (thanks to vartannswoman for the heads up on that one )

his character was about the same as Vartann
a tough, no nonsense kind of detective.. he dressed about the same too

I love that scene! It was Iced that inspired me to start writing Vartann into my series. It was the first time (and sadly the only time) we really got to see some different sides to him.

He's not on the next few Wildfire eppies, so maybe there will be some Vartann in a future CSI.

I hope so, but I think he's gone off the show forever
but you never know
if they do an episode like A Bullet Runs Through It then I hope he'll be back

Dead Ringer to me showed a differnt side to him too
I think with the cops killing other cops for an affair really got to him..
that's me
when he was in the interrogation room with Sara and Lydia (I think that was her name) and he says something about husbands being the only ones enjoying lingere

that line makes me think he had a cheating wife , but again that's me

I think those are my favorite Vartann episodes

A Bullet Runs Through It and Bodies in Motion.
These two episodes can be seen in April. (in Japan)
and, Point Pleasant is released in March.
It becomes one happy year.
My favorite episode is Iced, Dead Ringer, Bloodlines and
Eleven Angry Jurors.

BIG NEWS! "Louise Lombard, who co-stars on CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," has landed the title role in ABC's drama pilot "Judy's Got a Gun."

That means Las Vegas will be in need of another detective
