Add a Bit (Horatio and Rick slash)

"I'm up to seducing you," Rick said in the same naughty voice as before. He put his arms around Horatio's waist, noting the luxurious feel of the silk shirt and pulled him closer. He dove at his mouth and kissed him deeply.

Horatio could only moan very, very softly as he returned the favor with another kiss; that is, until his brunet haired beloved gently began to massage the calf of the ginger haired man's pants' leg with the unique feel of his snakeskin boot... " Like the feel of that, do you ? You're responding like an electric eel, H" Rick said as they finally parted for air, his voice as smooth as satin as Horatio began writhering in his arms....

Horatio staggered back slightly away from Rick in an effort to keep himself in control. He looked at his dark-haired partner with wide eyes and a smile. "What a bad, bad boy you are," he said, grinning and shaking his head.

"Only for you, Horatio," Rick said. His voice had changed from one of mischief, to one of deep caring.

As the lights began to come on without another word, Rick carefully led Horatio through the myriad of people to the observation deck outside in order to see the skylights and take in the cool air. As they both cooled themselves off, Rick knew that his best hang dog, apologetic facial expression was not going to get him off the hook for this bit of playful teasing he had engaged his partner in.

The look in Horatio's blue eyes promised his beloved a very sweet revenge in the near future....

Seeing the look in his lover's eyes, Rick couldn't help but shudder, and Horatio noticed it.

"Oh, yes, Rick...I have plans for you," Horatio said in a mock threatening voice. He licked his lips and let his gaze move slowly over Rick's body.

" You've sworn revenge, haven't you?" Rick smiled as he delighted in being looked over and allowed his spurs to jingle in response. Just then a blonde, young woman in a very chic red dress came over to the two of them. "Gentlemen, your hosts hope you will avail yourselves the pleasure of using these." She held out her hand and in it were 6 chips. Horatio could see that they were a set and the amount on them was five hundred dollars a piece. As she held out her hand towards Rick, the redhead's face held a cautious, concerned look. He was thinking about gambling, the past and the consequences of it. "Rick, do you think we should?" Horatio asked warily.

Rick thought briefly for a moment about the past, especially his own involvement in taking action against Ryan. "No thank you Miss. I think I'll pass. In fact, we'll both pass. I'll extend our apologies and reasons for same to our hosts." Rick countered politely and waved her offer off. " I know your concern, Horatio and it's a point well taken. It's no big deal for me not to play. I'm not disappointed, honestly, really." Rick continued, wanting to reassure him.

"I'm glad that you remembered and even more so understood." Horatio smiled and gave an approving nod.

"Well, how could I forget the incident with Ryan." Rick looked down and shook his head. Then, looking up at his partner he said, "But he's redeemed himself well. He's coming along nicely as a CSI. And, of course we both know he owes some of that to you." Rick leaned toward Horatio and gave him a gentle kiss.

As the blonde in red blushed and departed, taking the chips with her, Horatio enjoyed the kiss until his senses told him someone they knew was coming. "Have to save it all for later, Rick... it's our hosts, Gil and Nick coming." Horatio reluctantly completed the kiss. Rick smiled and stepped back, so that when their hosts saw the two of them, they were standing calmly away from each other, as if they were merely enjoying the cool breeze.

Gil noticed the blonde leaving with the chips and asked, "Aren't you two interested in any gambling tonight? You know what they say about whatever happens here."

Horatio and Rick gracefully explained the situation to Gil and Nick, and they totally understood.

"Well, I have just the thing," Gil said reaching into a pocket. "You can have this lottery ticket instead." He held it out to Horatio. "It's just random numbers picked by the computer. It's just a dollar ticket."

After they looked at each other nodding in agreement, Horatio accepted the ticket and gave it to Rick. "Might as well sign it on the back, who knows?" Rick said as they walked inside to a table to where he signed the back of the ticket with a pen.

***10 minutes later****
"Well, I'll BE, LOOK!" Nick shouted as the numbers lit up on a message board as he was standing next to Rick and looking at the ticket. "Man, you must have been born with a silver spoon in your mouth, Rick" Gil was grinning as Horatio looked on and could see that 4 of the 5 numbers on the ticket came up as winning numbers. "Hmmm, another message on the board. Looks like we'll have some nice *walk around money*" Rick said calmly, as the amount, two hundred fifty thousand dollars appeared for winning four out of five numbers....

"Hey, you're awfully nonchalant over this, Rick," Horatio noted.

"Well, in my family, we've always taken money very seriously," Rick began to explain.

"Half of the money is yours, Horatio."

"Wow. Thank you, partner." He put his arms around Rick and hugged him. Then he kissed him tenderly.

The sound of Nick clearing his throat was the only thing that kept Rick from continuing the kiss. As they both realized that their hosts were looking on, they stopped kissing, with Horatio stepping away from his lover's arms, ducking his head and blushing profusely- *caught in the act,* I guess," Rick said sheepishly as his face too was turning a beet red...

*Ten minutes later*

Horatio and Rick thanked their hosts for the wonderful night and started slowly walking toward the exit to where the Limo waited outside to take them back to the Inn.

"Wait a second, Horatio," Rick said. "I want to show you something." And Rick led Horatio into an adjacent room that had a huge collection of many different types of spurs hanging on the walls.
