I think it'll be a lot worse if Obama wins than McCain...I'm a diehard conservative who thinks liberals have caused more harm than good in this country and am greatly opposed to many of his stances.

they need to wake up and realize that being prolife doesn't mean being anti-woman or against women's rights. It's hard for me to see why people are so against accepting the unborn as human and that they're no different than any of us.
Maybe when pro-lifers understand what the attacks against them actually means, then they will understand where pro-choice people are coming from. Palin can be pro-life all she wants, that is not what is being attacked. Its taking away the choice. I don't care about the morals about abortion, it is something that I see as nessecary, because lets face it, you have to be an idiot to believe making it illegal will stop them. Or that it will be good for the society. Plus she supports stopping abortions for women who have been raped and in cases of incest. I know i am a socialist commie, but making a female who has been raped have that child is DISGUSTING.
Their rights need to be protected. We get upset when kids are killed and killing them is no different.
Thats your view, and you are welcome to it, but in my scientific view (i know, i am an evil scientist as well, hell here i come!) an embryo is a clump of growing cells, that rely on the host (mother) to survive. So it is kind of like a parasite. It is part of the mother's body, even with a different DNA profile. So I see it as tissue, that the mother has total control over. And embryo's are disposible, if one goes, just get another one going! Nature made them that way. I find it funny that people who are so against abortions are also against socialism, since socialist programs support teen mothers, adoption services, helping single mothers, etc.
Hey, here is an idea, if you don't agree with abortion, don't have one! Makes sense right? Abortion is like prostitution, and all the other evils that people object to, but always occur over and over.

her desire to allow academic freedom in our schools as well as her recognition that so called comprehensive sex ed isn't working while the evidence shows abstinence ed is, despite the liberals' continued denial of it. I don't think she'd be bad as president at all in that respect although experience is a big question on both sides.
LOL...oh wow. Time to turn off Fox News. No the sex-ed doesn't stop kids from having sex, nothing does since humans are biologically programmed to have sex, but it does decrease unprotected sex. You know the rest of the westernized world doesn't use that abstinence education crap right? There is a reason for that. We actually have science, we are open about sexuallity, as it is apart of being human, and shouldn't be considered as being 'dirty'. Plus it doesn't work. Kids have sex, deal with it. It is only birth control, OMG NOT CONDOMS!! Not to mention a lot of us don't believe in 'no sex before marriage' stuff, since it increases young marriages, not to mention unprotected sexual activities. How is banning sex-ed allowing academic freedom? Gotta love that her teen daughter is preggers, LOL I guess all that abstinence only education really works.
That said, I don't like Palin's lack of compassion for animal life...someone should run her down with a helicopter and shoot her and see how she would like it.

Well, i am not fighting, although my post is rather snarky, but that is just my style (it isn't supposed to be rude towards you personally). You have to back your points up with evidence!
I am not trying to be rude, but the view of America from the outside is not good at all. The phrase 'stupid americans' is common (I hear it ALL the time), and your government is either viewed as a bully, who breaks human rights, or a joke. Seriously, we can see the US falling apart, and it doesn't look good! But we all love Obama! Go Obama!!
And good for you. I'm glad you're able to make light of your party. Alot of people, republicans and democrats alike, need to lighten up. When MadTV did a skit of Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton, I died laughing. But my family, die hard democrats, did NOT think it was funny. They flipped out.
