I actually only heard one guy slam Obama for this act of kindness, and who cares about him I didn't even remember his name:confused:some Republican troll, but loved Joe Biden saying this :lol: [below] Obama is in Nevada and New Mexico today, I hope his dear grandma improves to see her grandson win this election:thumbsup:

Anyone notice that people are constantly (not here) bringing up Obama's birth certificate? apparently some are saying that he [Obama] refuses to release his real one, claiming that he isn't a natural born citizen. One guy in Philly actually brought a lawsuit. Even though Fact Check has pictures of it. Here is the guys [Bergs] website for anyone interested Obama Crimes, apparently the guy isn't happy about the Judges decision. to tossed his suit, so he is appealing it.

I just find it wierd what some people will do to either get attention, or cause problems I personally can not wait for the election to be over so I can turn on my tv without hearing a campaign add. Granted Obama's (at least that run here) aren't that bad. But if I have to here (in my mocking voice) "I'm Joe the plumber" one more time I am going to pitch my tv out a window. Course someone did start some kind of petition to get "Joe the Plumber" (who isn't a licensed plumber) to run for congress, and he is thinking about it. Yep he would fit in, divorced, owes back taxes, has a lien against his home and people are tired (at least from where I am at) already. :rolleyes:

:lol: me too Destiny if I hear about 'Joe the plumber" one more time I have thought of throwing my remote at the TV.. give it a rest already, geez, and he's not even a plumber:confused:so much bitterness and anger, I want to hear about the issues, and has anyone heard McCain's plan for bringing our troops home from Iraq? I've never heard him mention this at all:censored:where as Obama has said numerous times he'd start withdrawal within 16 months~And the birth certificate crap is just that crap, don't these a..holes have anything better to do with their time? get a friggin' life~

Isn't it interesting that we're supposed to be impressed by the opinions of Joe the Plumber, who hasn't bothered to get a plumber's license, yet Hollywood stars, usually with college degrees, some in areas like political science, are not supposed to voice opinions in public? Are we a messed up country or what?
 
That birth certificate madness is crazy! There is no way he would have been allowed to file papers to run for president was he not a natural-born American citizen. *AND* they wouldn't rely on just the evidence that Obama has presented but done some digging. Besides, the only way he wouldn't be one is if his mother wasn't born here. It drives me crazy that this of all things is an issue.

That guy with the lawsuit needs his head examined. ;)
 
I got a question here. Who is Joe the Plumber? I know I read what he said that Obama is not born in United States. Umm, Did Obama said, he was born in Hawaii? It Hawaii is 49 or 50 States? Let me go check on the map, Yes, Hawaii is part of United States. Joe The Plumber (Whoever he is.) need to check the map and read the rules. People who was born in the United States can run for President, so Obama can run for President. His mother is born in the United States and so it his Grandparents. He just tried to cause trouble. Can you please tell who is Joe the Plumber guy is?
 
Joe the plumber is a guy who Obama talked to on his campaign trail, and and was asking about his tax plan for everyone, and Obama said "He'd only tax people who where in the $250,000 income category", which, what plumber makes that much, then McCain went all ballistic saying that "Joe the plumber" was your average voter, and Obama's tax plan wouldn't help him, [which it would] it went completely crazy:klingon:and like Destiny's link proved Joe, the real guy's name isn't even Joe, and he's not a licensed plumber:wtf: but McCain is using him constantly that's all he mentions... to prove some bogus claim about the average "Joe" which he isn't.. does that make sense, if someone else can explain this more eloquently then please do:)
 
Thank you, desert-ghoul. You make sense now. Obama was born in the United States, if he wasn't, he wouldn't be running for President. Sound like McCain act like Richard Nixons that he was insecure that he won't win for President in the White House.

See what that guy who is suing is trying to say is that he was either born in Kenya, but then his mother listed him as being born in Hawaii. That he became a citizen of Indoneasia when his mother married a citizen there, and that he had mentioning going to school in Kenya or something like that, basically claiming that the mother who was american gave up her right when she went to both Kenya and Indoneasia and never did either him or his mother re-take the oath in the U.S. or something to that effect.

The problem with that is, that they can not prove that his mother gave up her U.S citizenship when she got married. Nor that he was born in any other place then Hawaii, no hospital will confirm this because Medical records are confidental. Like I said all these people and its more then just this guy are either doing it for attention or trying to cause trouble. The fact that people are buying it and not doing research themselves is reall sad. I mean look at McCain when it was said he was born in the Panama Canal, but due to circumstances he is considered a US citizen.

I don't know what they think they are proving but I really wish they would just drop it, I admit our government can drop the ball, be loopy and down right dumb at times, but even I don't think they would let Obama run for Senate, or even President if they didn't infact know exactly where he was born, where he traveled, and what he ate for breakfest on his tenth birthday lol.

And the reason why this brith certificate drama popped up now? The October surprise Ladies and Gents. They are probably hoping that it causes a big enough stir to discourage people from voting for Obama. What this proves is that the republican party is running scared. They are using their last little bit of negativity in a last ditch attempt to swoon voters.

IMO, I believe that it is still gonna be a close race. People may say a certain thing when taking polls, but may vote differently once that curtain is closed. Although I hate to say it, race is still playing big part in this election. So I guess we'll just have to hope for the best, and pray that the American people won't let us down again.

Yes. Panama Canal Zone - From 1903 to 1979 the territory was controlled by the United States, seeing as McCain was born in 1936 and both his parents were natural born citizens, this in fact would make him one as well. -- You can see here as well it states: "Any person born in the Canal Zone on or after February 26, 1904, and whether before or after the effective date of this chapter, whose father or mother or both at the time of the birth of such person was or is a citizen of the United States, is declared to be a citizen of the United States." -- And Fineally a Judge ruled as Reported that, "McCain's parents were both citizens when McCain was born Aug. 29, 1936, in the Panama Canal Zone, a U.S. territory where his father was stationed with the U.S. Navy."

As to why bring up Obama's birth certificate, I would guess it has to do with throwing people off, But according to this Washington Times article suing people of power is nothing new for Berg apparently.

Government Foils Skinhead Plot to Assassinate Obama - Skinheads planned to kill Obama and 102 others in Tennessee.
Federal agents have disrupted a plot to assassinate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate dozens of black students in Tennessee, the ATF said Monday.

In court records unsealed Monday, federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.

A source in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives told FOX News that the two skinheads, who were picked up in Crockett County, Tenn., were plotting to shoot 88 black students and decapitate 14 others described as non-whites. The source said officials believe the suspects were planning to attempt an assassination against Obama.

The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community.

Obama calls widow of campaigner backer

Barack Obama has expressed his condolences to the widow of a Spark's, NV. man who died while campaigning door-to-door for the Democratic presidential candidate. Susan Swensen said she recieved a phone call and flowers from Obama after her husband Edmond Dewey Swensen suffered a mass heart attack while campaigning in Spark's on Oct. 18. When Obama called on Monday, Susan Swensen said she didn't answer the phone because she didn't recognize the number, but called back and spoke directly to Obama. He offered his condolences and expressed his gratitude for her husband's campaign efforts! He's inspriational for sure

So, six days out from this historical election, and this evening Obama is taking over prime-time television on a few networks for a 30-minute extended campaign ad. Any thoughts from the crowd on the wisdom or folly of this? Is it a gross mis-use of campaign funds, or a strategic move on his part?
