I read in the csi new york magazine that becasue of the writers strike csi new york is going to be the last out of the frangise to go off the air does that mean they are never doing anymore episodes of csi again :(

I read somewhere they may only be doing 17 episodes for season 8 is this true or are they going to do the usual 24 ?? thanks if they only do 17 when it comes out on dvd in the uk it would be strange

I saw an interview last night on 1 of my csi dvd's with louise lombard her voice sounds wayyyy diffrent than in the show what is the reson for this is it just to fit script i am jw since all the other actors use there correct accents yet louise uses a diffrent one is the show why ??
