louise lomard accent

I saw an interview last night on 1 of my csi dvd's with louise lombard her voice sounds wayyyy diffrent than in the show what is the reson for this is it just to fit script i am jw since all the other actors use there correct accents yet louise uses a diffrent one is the show why ??

Louise has a British accnt which she can't use on the show because her character is American.
