Baby Messer ***possible spoliers***

I have this theory. If the name of the baby (hopefully a girl in my eyes) began with an M, then his or her initials would be M&M!!!
I like, Madeleine and Matilda (Maddie for short)

I do like those names, but if TPTB goes that direction I will assume they have given up every shred of dignity and credibility they have remaining. :shifty:

PerfectAnomaly, you are my hero.

Am I the only one that's worried this kid will end up with the nickname "Boom"?
Dude seriously that's not even funny! I pray to God that doesn't happen it  :guffaw:

You know Danny will just HAVE to say "Boom" at least once as he's describing the birth to Flack:

"Then Boom! There he was, all wrinkled and screaming. It was amazing!"

He's gonna say it, so he just might call the kid "Boom" as a joke, or a nickname! :shifty:
oh man no way that would suck I'd feel sorry for the kid! Poor thing! :(

So Danny tells Flack: Boom! There he was all wrinkled and screaming.
Flack replies: Get out of here!

Oh my goodness, if we get twins I would be kinda weirded out. Can you say cliche?--Maybe that's not the right word. Fan-fictiony comes to mind, though.
Totally agree. I know multiple births happen but I cringe whenever I read a fanfic and it's twins. Especially as it's always two girls or one of each. And I think they would have found out by now if she was having twins.

I hope to god it's a boy. I may vomit if it's a girl. I think them having a girl is a bit of a cliche cos they'd totally go down the whole over-protective-father-she's-not-dating-till-she's-30 route. Lame :brickwall: I think Danny would be good with a boy. I'm looking forward to it though :)

I also think it will be a boy, guess why. Just because the whole series' character is kind of "male" and a daughter would be too much sugar for the whole story.

By the way: How old are Danny and Lindsay? Do we know that?

Danny is 33, I think. Lindsay says something about footage of his thirtiest birthday party in season 2 (with the documentary about walrusses), making him 33 now.

I think that in season two, with the trial, the shooting was ten years before. If so that would make Lindsay 24 in that season. That would make her 27 now.

I don't think we've ever really been informed of the age of the characters... I would just go from the age of the actors.

I would rather say she is 27 then 36 as Anna.
I doubt that Lindsay is older then Danny.
But was Lindsay 14 as here friends were killed? Seems quite young to me.

But to come back to topic:
I loved the scene in the last ep about the chinese star sign;)

It was supposed to be summer vacation. I thought that it was the summer before they entered high school. I might be wrong.

I do remember that they were school friends, and that they were quite young. That Lindsay said that one of them was going to go away for the summer which she had never done before.
I also know that the actress who played young Lindsay, Ashley Richards was only 14, making it unlikely that Lindsay was any older. Children always play their age or younger.

I added wrong up there. I should have said that it was ten years before season three not season two. That would make Lindsays 24 and thus 26 now. Sorry about the bad calculation.

Well, your calculation was even better then mine;)
I did not know they were so young but that might be the effect when a grown-up woman talks about it ten years later and one only knows her the age she is now.

I see where you are coming from but I am not sure that Lindsay could have done all her CSI training and had experience as a CSI back in Montana and still only be 24 when she arrived in NY. I think TPTB don't bother doing the maths when they write character pasts into episodes as their ages never seem to add up. I would put both Lindsay and Danny in their mid-thirties.
