Eric/Natalia___The Sweetest Smiles...

Ick. I hated that comment. I wanted to jump in the scream and smack the living day lights out of him. I can't take this kind of thing from the guy. Gr. What in the world does he mean that he hasn't found her yet. He so knows he has. That could-a been an angsty Nat scene though that may have made it better for me. Nat/Eric angst is better than Nat/Eric nothing.

On the ather side... Fic update for "Nothing Nice to Say" Getting intence between all three.

Eric owes her a night of dancing & dinner, for never taking her out before!! Even though I don't mind at all what i imagine they were doing at his home all the time :devil:

I think thats the only reason he felt obligated to give Ryan money for their "date". He just felt bad because of what she said. And notice he gave Ryan enough for "lobster & dessert" & not a hamburger & fries :lol: She was worth that much!

They will get it on again!! When the "REAL" Eric Delko returns!! The Eric Delko that will soon remember his "lost" love for Natalia!!

Where is everyone?

So after watching repeats over the last few days, I think i've come to understand Nat's problem. The writers have been good at showing US how much he cares about her but has neglected to show this to Natalia.
In "if looks could kill", she only assumed that Eric willingly told the judge that she pushed Nick; she didn't hear him tell the judge he didn't want to get involved or call Horatio about it.
Then she missed Eric telling Nick "I don't have your back, after Eric told her to leave the crime scene.
Ive also come to believe they were still seeing each other in this one. The writers wanted us to think that. The intro scene w/ the couple having sex; husband comes in yelling "your sleeping w/ my wife, in my house". Another "reflection" of EDeN & their relationship.

Internal Affairs, she was practically begging Eric for him to defend her while she was being escorted in, in handcuffs. She didn't get to see him at the crime scene making sure the night shift was doing it right, or that he told H "im all over this". The looks on both H & Frank's face showed that they knew this was just as personal for Eric as it was for Nat.
In the interrogation scene when jake commented on Eric's statement; she spoke w/ paranoia saying "did he actually say that, did he tell you that?". She was soo misunderstood!
And she missed the whole Nick/Eric fight! God, I wished she could've seen that!!
I don't think she realized in "throwing heat" that, that whole fighting scenario was about her. Its kinda like when the writers play off Horatio involved w/ some kid w/ troubles...its always a reflection of him personally. Eric's involvement w/ that had everything to do w/ Natalia. Yes, yes it does!!

My point is maybe the scene in "deep freeze" was the srart of showing Nat just how much he really does care!
Then we just need to take care of this pesky bullet in Eric's head :lol:

Don't worry! We're still around but with a rerun earlier this week there has not been much to post on. It's the new epis that give us the clues and insights. And the next new epi isn't until this-coming Monday
I see your points with the scenes you bring up in your post. I only have one problem and that is with the "Internal Affairs" epi. I do not think Eric would have been approved with Natalia having one last night with her now-dead ex-husband. I think that if they have started seeing each other secretly, it probably started some time after Eric's brain injury. It just seems that would have been a time when Eric would be looking for something familiar and reassuring and Calleigh is paired up with Jake. Who does that leave?
I still stand by my prediction that EDeN will take a some time. We still have to see what happens, if anything, with "Rich the shooting coach". I also think that Eric's actions toward Nat are on the subconscious side, he does them without thinking about them really. Although I think he'd better.
Did anyone notice that the "Eva/Natalia" thread in the CSI Miami forum was "pruned"?

Thats odd, the thread was there earlier when I was on. Usually theres a page 2. Surely we could "search" & revive her thread. I wouldn't think they'd completely take away her thread.

Ok, well my thought of them seeing each other was from "if looks could kill". It was pretty obvious the flirting in "going under" was a clue itself that the two of them hooking up again was very possible. Then of course Nick showed up 2 epis later.

I tend to believe that when Nick showed up it put a hault to what they had started again...or rather, GETTING READY to start again. No, I would never have wanted it to be like, they were together & that she also slept w/ Nick in "internal affairs". No, no, no.

Season 5 started out like this:

"rio"...showed us there was no hard feelings between them. Their one scene was small, but it appeared to me that Eric was having a hard time staying angry w/ her. He had forgiven her...

Next epi,"going under"... the flirting; so obvious!

A few epis later, "if looks could kill"...Nick's return; if they hadn't gotten back together in between these epis, they were well on their way to reuniting. This epi made Nat take a step back, I think. Adam said in an interview about this epi, that Natalia was very confused.

Several epis later, "internal affairs"...already discussed. Then the VERY NEXT epi was..."throwing heat"; NEXT EPI after that was "no man's land... & Eric is shot. Suddenly everything is different. I mean, they litterally played off EDeN right up to his shooting moment. Theres something thats just too odd about that to me.

I still think Eric has more memory loss than what TPTB have showed us. :lol:

Did anyone see the previews for Monday?
I bet its Eric flashing back on the "shooting".
"Yeah, you need to flash back a little further there, Eric!!"

Maybe it is something wrong with my browser. In the CSI Miami thread I am only seeing a page 1 and no Nat thread.
I haven't seen any preview for next week. The local TV station always "shrinks down" the picture and turns off the episode sound so they can preview the local news. Happens every damned time. And I haven't seen any clips elsewhere either. Sucks!
All things you pointed out are valid. They probably were on their way to getting back together. Then "the shooting" occured. Which later led to the confusion with Calleigh.

Would you believe I nearly got into an argument with my own sister about who Eric would be better off with? My sister is a PhD and prides herself on being "intellectual", does not own a TV and reads a great deal which is fine. What few TV shows she does watch, she watches online, CSI Miami being one of them. She made a comment or two about Calleigh(she really likes Calleigh) and Eric getting together, and soon.
I made my argument that the EDeN will be the better bet.

It was as if I had said that her PhD was from Sears. She was upset with me. Told me I was nuts and had no idea what I was talking about. Fortunately the hard feelings didn't last.

I need to ask one, possibly stupid, question. What does "TPTB" stand for?

the power that be its the people who decide everything on the show so its probably like Jerry brokheimer,the producers, director and writers.

:lol:Actually I can totally believe that DHELIX! EDeN is that couple that I think some people want to believe was just a small fling & then it was over, bla, bla, bla. I will never believe that! I don't think for one second that the writers placing Nat back (in love?) w/ Nick was their way of saying its officially over between her & Eric. To me, its just another way for them to stretch out their relationship. Your sister should pay close attenetion to all these epis..& in order...

Every one of these epis is some kind of emphasis on EDeN. Every scene having something to do w/ them PERSONALLY, their personal lives... never job related!! Let her get back to ya after that :lol:

Well EDeN fans, the spoiler for "Guerillas in the Mist" is up.
The only thing that can be said about with regard to our pair is that, once again, there is no sign of "Rich the shooting instructor". What the hell? I am beginning to wonder if TPTB are going to develop that angle at all. I thought for sure if we were going to see something we would have seen it by now. All the more reason for our pair to "re-stoke the flame" as it were.
I am very curious about upcoming "Miami Confidental". We're supposed to learn more about Nat and "Agent Mike".

I know, that whole "Rich" thing is really confusing. Im sure their still planning to use him, maybe not til after "Miami Confidential"

We could be worrying over nothing. On CSI:NY, part of Stella's "love interest" was that Drew guy & look how it turned out. He hardly appeared & there ended up being nothing really there. Im not saying this will be the same for Nat, but its very possible that Rich is only meant to be interested in her & my guess... for all the wrong reasons. I think "Miami Confidental" will tell us alot & give us hints of whats to come.

One thing im already clueing in on is that this CI has info on someone (maybe the same thing Nat has on Mike) & she gets killed. It just sounds like a set-up for what Natalia might go through coming up. I think its very likely that she could end up beaten or almost killed by this Rich guy.

Eric's lawsuit chick is likely to resurface & I would not doubt it if they didn't use whatever happens to Nat to reflect off all that. Its always been Eric drawn into Natalia when this kind of thing happens (Burned epi). Its what im hoping for anyway...

I see your point but I do see a difference between Stella/Drew and Natalia/"Rich the shooting coach". The guy Drew had dialogue and appeared now and again. This guy Rich has been on how many times? Twice? Not only that Natalia does not even bring him up in conversation with others-even Ryan who set the whole arrangement up. Natalia has not said once "My shooting instructor is kind of cute." or "Did I tell you my shooting coach asked me out?" Or anything of that nature.
Even when he tried to ask her out, she just wasn't interested. Even when Ryan made his comment about Nat logging in lots of time at the range, her reaction was more like "Ugh! Am I done with this yet?!"

At least Stella had a conversation or two with Lindsay about her persistent suitor.

You might be right, the real story with "Rich the shooting coach" maybe hasn't happened yet. Maybe this "plot twist" Eva talked about happens in "Miami Confidential".

The other possibility is the the writers/producers looked at Natalia and Rich together and simply decided "Nah. This doesn't do it for us." and dropped the story line all together.
Just guess I'll keep watching.

Here we are again EDeN fans! Only this time we're not left with much of anything. One scene when Eric and Nat were looking over evidence. The only thing that could be said was that they looked comfortable around one another.

Then I saw (what I could) of next week's previews. My local TV news station keeps shrinking the screen and overrides the sound so I can't understand what's going on. Sucks!

The only thing I could see was that this next epi looks as if it will have Natalia in the center of the story. Did anyone get a good look/listen at the previews? If you feel generous would someone mind giving me rundown on what the previews show and said.

One last note: I initially thought this episode had good potential. The "gun" that was the subject of the story actually does exist-although I remember as it being called "Metal Storm Technology. My opinion is the writers tried to compress to big/complicated a story into 45 minutes and that's where it fell short.

I can't complain about the EDeN scene from last night. No it wasn't alot, but they are still having scenes together & they are so nice even just discussing evidence & standing next to each other. Where was her lab coat, though? Eric was in his. I didn't think they were supposed to process evidence w/out their coats on Anyway, their too cute together...just too cute!

The only reason I think that we'll get our Rich storyline by mid-season is because of this. Would it really take Nat ALL season to learn to shoot? I wouldn't think so. I believe this next epi will be the "start" of Nat's arc. My big hope is that whatever happens...& I think it will be bad...will wake up Eric a little. Maybe if this Rich guy ends up hurting her, Eric will start to keep a close eye on her again...maybe even continue her training w/ him as her "coach". They'll start spending more "alone time" together & they can re-ignite that flame. Although I don't want them to rush it either...just some hints & clues that their on their way back is all I want by the end of the season!!

I am so thrilled we get "Miami Confidentaial" next week. I thought it wouldn't air until January. I'll take it now!!

Also, watch CSI:Vegas on Thursdays, usually around the last 1/2 hour of the show they'll show PREVIEWS for the next Miami ep. Also during Without a Trace. I'll be watching!!

Ive just seen the episode with Nats husband (nasty fellow) and Eric was so sweet there. all worried and just waiting for an opportunity to jump in and play the knight in shinning armour. Im really curious of the next episodes cause I read some stuff but I dont really know what will happen
