Hey y'all!!! Can anyone confirm if Sofia Milos will make an appearance in the s8 premiere?

It's interesting what's in store for us when Miami returns in the fall! I can't wait to see our beloved Francis with hair!!!

Ok so there have been some changes to the spoiler for ep 803

It would appear that IAB is investigating why Eric was fleeing the scene in the finale and why Cal shot at him! The I.A. Agent asks Eric if he wasn't fleeing then how did his car end up in the glades? He says he doesn't know b/c the doctors told him there would be memory loss b/c of the bullet fragment. He wasn't fleeing the scene, he was attempting to bring Sharova in and planned on escorting him in.

In another room, Cal is being interviewed by Stetler about the same circumstances. She contends that she did not know it was Eric in the car until after she fired the shot....she reacted based on instinct and training and feared for her life when the car came came torwards her.

They both seem to be telling the truth as we all saw it in the finale. Except for the missing pieces about what happened in the glades. Eric doesn't seem to remember any of that. Which I personally think will be revealed at a later date b/c there is just too much left out of that situation to just let that be the reason. And there seems to be animosity between him and Cal. I don't thinnk he blames her for shooting at him per se but I do think he blames her for not trusting him that he was going to turn his dad in and may think b/c of that lack of trust she shot at him b/c she thought he crossed sides. It definately sounds like these two have not talked at all!! Typical relationship drama! They get together, they break up b/c of something (in this case it seems lack of either trust or appearance of lack of trust) and then something happens and then they get back together.....man, I wish this show could be original and not soo damn cliched!

There is also no telling what else Eric doesn't remember about that day.

It also seems that we might actually get a new M.E.! His name, as of right now, is Tom Lowman. I don't know if he is permanent or if he just for the ep. But he talks to H about the victims from the beach volleyball game.

Thanks for the info Delkolover:D
I agree with you why did they have to go all cliched but I'm hoping they get to work things out.
The things you said about them being interrogated in separate rooms makes remember the seen with Flack/Angell when they were questioning both of them.;)

No problem guys! I posted the E/C stuff in here b/c it obviously applies to what happened that in the finale.... I really just ask that those of you who might be happy about the apparent break up of E/C, take it to the E/C dislike thread.

I did not post it so those who dislike it can rub it in the faces of those who do!

If it pertains to the episode directly (which it does), anyone can discuss it here, whether they like the relationship or not. I would expect, however that everyone remains respectful and that we stick mainly with the spoilers and not turn this into a free-for-all. Thank you. :)

I didn't exactly want to say it like that....but that is what I meant :D

I am on odd fan becouse I like the spoilers. It makes sense for E/C to have problems related to trust issues, mainly becouse as we saw in the finale they have some.I like that the situation is being adressed instead of forgotten like we saw in other relationships.Even in episode 2 that Eric is not seen much, they made sure to include continuity related to them. And continuity is always a plus in my book.Of course,it would have been nice to have everything resolved quickly but they want drama.

And what Eric did in the finale needs to be explained!!! I like that he is telling the truth and that he was trying to do the right thing but IAB at least needs to question that.I also like that they are aware of the situation between E/C.Calleigh is going to be the one making medical choices for him which is not what you do for just a co worker.Someone needs to wonder why!!

Thanks for the spoilers,delkolover.

Thank you delkolover for that well....

Hopefully if it stays that way guess its good to see them investigating what happened rather then have it swept under the rug and for us to wonder whether or not he does or does not get into trouble for it???

Since we never seen what happened with ryan and the whole taking evidence thing.....and i liked your point about conflicting as to whether he was there to help his dad or bring him in and she thinking he wasnt bringing him in but crossing the line.....very interesting

Thank you so much again....your a gem!

As always you are welcome :D

I think the whole thing...between them that is...has a lot to do with him thinking she was thinking one thing and her thinking he was doing another! No doubt there are other things going on but from looking at the spoilers you can soo see that the scene calls for them to go back and forth with their interviewers and that both are telling the truth...it is just obvious they both have different interpretations of the 'how' and 'why' based on the last conversation the two had before the shootout.

I also think that the whole "missing glades memory" is going to play into his situation. I mean if he was, and he is asked this, going to turn his father in, then why did he go to the glades? He can't answer the question and I think when he is finally able to answer it....a lot of our questions will be answered. And it is going to be like a 'lightbulb' moment.

I too was hoping to avoid the overly dramatic cliched drama but meh, it is Miami afterall and they don't know any better

Woo-hoo! I hope he's between 30ish- 50ish and it'd be nice if he had like an Irish or Australian accent. We've already got the English accent with Travers. :)

Delkolover, could you tell if Eric was back to work in this ep or if he's still on leave and just came in for the interview?

I'm intrested in what Eric doesn't remember about that day, but I'm hoping that it this particular scene doesn't lead into season long e/c drama. I'm curious if Eric will be working a case at the time that the interviews take place or if he is just being called in for the interviews. I'm kind of irritated that this is the continuity tptb decides to focus on instead of the more important events of WISC. This is not to say that Eric is not important it's just that a possible cop crossed the line thing doesn't really need to be dragged out over three episodes. I'm not really sure what to think about this part of the episode but I think I'll have to wait and see. Though I hope they IAB interview more than just Eric and Calliegh the single e/c drama is a bit burned out right about now as far as episodes go and IAB wouldn't be conducting a full investigation unless they interview everyone.

I did not post it so those who dislike it can rub it in the faces of those who do!

Delkolover could you please not assume that those who don't like e/c are going to rub it in the faces of those who do it is a childish act to do so and I'm sure that no one would do that unless they were a 5 year old and I'm sure there are no 5 year olds on this board.

That is a good question! ;) Unfortunately, I can't tell. The spoilers that contained the "interviews" were simply that....interviews. The spoilers picked up in the middle of them. So I don't know if he is back to work yet or just in for the interview. I am thinking though that he needs this interview to go well and be cleared by IAB before he can go back to work. I'm sure he was mainly off b/c of his injury but probably this too.

And our new M.E. is described as being "30 yrs old and a science fair winner turned doctor" He seems very excited to be working with H....I know b/c he actually tells H that when they meet! ;)

Oh also, and I can't believe I forgot to mention this....Jesse Cardoza is officially a CSI. He arrives at the crime scene and Wolfe asks him if it is official and Jesse replies yes, he was sworn in that morning. Wolfe jokes that he thought the hostage situation would have scared him off but Jesse says that is how he always makes his entrance!

Ok so presuming ......maybe it could be just temporary or maybe a new ME so more men??? the chicks are outvoted here..... that would make it what?? about 7 men to 3 women???

And i would love to see them have eric out of work a bit longer for either recovery or an investigation into his actions on that day etc etc.... dont kill me for saying it please :shifty: but good we finally see some authority being put in place since I.A.B in involved do we see anything on Rick Stetler??? hope so....;)
