    Yep, 5.15 - "The Party's Over". :)

I do wish they'd stick with one time, it's not like LV or Miami have to put up with such ridiculous time changes in their Tuesday night slot! Meh, I'm just bitter, I guess I've just always wished that NY wasn't being shown on a Saturday night. ;) Nowadays I'm more likely to catch the Sunday repeat than actually manage to watch it on Saturday.

Were on epi 15 already? I didn't think I'd watched that many. Going too fast....
I glad they do the Sunday repeat, although I am in more Saturday nights than I would like  MacsLady- Pub sounds like a good idea!

I thought the best bit of the last episode was Danny trapping the girl in the locker. Flack always seems to have to do the running, not that I'm complaining
MacsLady- I agree about Danny's glasses. Think I'm just used to seeing him in them, so he looks wierd when he is not.

The bit where they let the girl use the bathroom. Why did they not send in a police women with her? Other than that bit, I enjoyed the episode, and it was pretty sad at the end with the girl and her dead Dad.

    hi
I thought last nights episode was one of the best this season. Adam with the boy at the end nearly made me cry! Its a great rivalry that Mac and Dunbrook have and it should be intresting to see how that plays out. Didn't think Danny should have went away with the blue flu, I thought it was a teeny bit irresponsible. Poor Hawkes at court!

Yeah, it was a good episode.
Loved Mac chasing that guy down the street (though it was obviously a stunt double during the actual chase) and how he 'recycled' the plastic bag as handcuffs.

Liked that again we got a bit of a topical episode with budget cuts, and strikes.

Danny getting the blue flu - it would have been better if he hadn't come in at all, rather than walking off a crime scene. I admire his loyalty and desire to stand up for what's right, but his actions landed Hawkes in a bad situation, and put a case at risk.

I'm enjoying Mac and Dunbrook's rivalry, though Dunbrook should know no one can buy off Mac Taylor. I wonder what his motives are. Like Mac, I'm suspicious.

Did anyone else think Stella's dress was a little short for a work-related party?

Loved Adam and the boy, that last scene with them was so sweet and sad. Love how Mac and Stella brought him in to talk to the kid, it shows they trust and believe in him, sweet.

I agree with that it was very short!

That dress- dont know how she could process the scene wearing it, I would be pulling it down every other minute. i though it was an ok epi.
    I liked-
    1. Hot fireman. (Although with Stella's record it will end badly)
    2. Adam and the kid. I love Adam. So compassionate.
    3. The political aspect. I'm with Danny- you have to show them you mean business. I was glad Hawkes had forgiven him by the end.
Things I didn't like so much-
    1. Another opponent for Mac- how many continuing stories do we need, What happened to that stalker girl, anyway?
    2. Lack of Flack! I thought he must've gone on strike as well.
    3. Do prisoners get to keep ipods? Even if they are only kids?

I didn't get round to posting about last weeks episode The Party's Over, but on the whole it was one of the better episodes so far. I agree with everyone commenting on Danny and leaving work, I thought this wrong of him, IMHO it should have been Flack but then again he probably wouldn't have done so and I found myself sympathising with Hawkes.

I can sort of see why Stella is with her fireman, I know I have seen words like, dull, bland, stupid said in reference to him, but maybe she playing it safe. No doubt time will tell and he will probably fizzle out! As for her dress, Stella! please, you are so beautiful something a bit more classier would have been more fitting IMO. :) Nice legs though and gave Hawkes a good view!;)

I am looking forward to the Dunbrook storyline and Mac, it's obvious Mac doesn't trust him and I agree with him. I only hope that TPTB don't let us down with this and other storylines. I have said before that I rather enjoy the 3 arc storylines, but the last one of these have always been a bitter disappointment for me, they are rushed at the end and I am left so frustrated. :wtf: Just my opinion.:)

If this is the last we see of Gillian then I am saddened. I really enjoyed Julia's involvement in the show and although I am glad that they didn't romantically link Gillian and Mac together (unless I missed something) i nevertheless enjoyed these two actors working together. :)

Tomorrow 9.40pm "No Good Deed". I am nervously waiting for this episode, I have read the blurb that Channel 5 give about the episode and I am slightly concerned. Like I said above, started out as a good storyline, ie, "Father, obsessive stalker, crazy girl, bless"! so I hope the writers have enough sense to deal with this storyline properly and not fob me of! Please be careful Mac, you are going soft in your old age and whilst I like a more gentle and sensitive side to him, I don't want him being replaced by some alien clone that has forgotten what he does for a living. :) I am not holding my breath!!

Goodness me, how could I forget the star of the episode Adam of course, sorry!!! AJ is wonderful and I am loving every part of Adam's character he is really an essential part of this show thankfully for once TPTB have done something right!! Keep it up please!!

    Sophia- totally agree about Adam.

I can watch a lot of the gory stuff on this show, but there is something about missing eyeballs that totally freaks me out. Yuck! How unlucky is Stella?
And them birds. I wouldn't have gone anywhere near them.

I thought it was an ok epi, the bits I could watch anyway! Im guessing crazy girl Ella will be in it again. I thought it was out of character for Mac to visit her.It said in the Radio Times review about him turning into Horatio! (hopefully thats not the case, there is only 1 H!)

This was a gross episode, with the eyeball, and then stomach in the bird's nest, just....ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Adam was totally adorkable, loved him pretending to be a bird, and signaling Mac through the glass wall.

I enjoyed the Ella storyline. While Mac going to see her did seem a little OOC, it didn't make me worry he's gonna turn into H (as you say, solitaire, there can only be 1 Horatio!). I think we're just seeing his softer irreally provides people with closure. It was unusual for him to not listen to Stella and go and see Ella though, but I think he was just trying to reach out, kind of like Stella did in Some Buried Bones with that shoplifter who was running from an abusive hubby, or Hawkes did to that girl who was killed in Murder Sings the Blues. I think it was poor judgement on Mac's part going to see her, but I like to see he's as capable of having his judgement clouded by his emotions as anyone else.
I do wonder if she will be back, though. Stella is right, Mac needs to get away, that girl is unstable, and fixated on him. It would be interesting to see what kind of relationship they would have though - I'm sure Mac has no romantic interest in her, but what does she feel for him? What is it that made Mac reach out to her, even though in his talk with Stella he seemed wary of doing so?

Mac's story about his childhood was interesting I thought, and sad, his poor friend! But it's not the whole story behind his desire to help Ella, I think. Could just be the case has touched a nerve with him, something to do with Reed or Claire maybe?

The RT reviewer....she also described Mac as 'impassive', which I've never seen him as being, so personally I took her comment about Mac turning into H with a grain of salt. Hey, as long as he doesn't dye his hair red, start weating massive sunnies ALL the time, holding his head funny, doing the 'bonding with children of vics' thing all the time, and run around killing random gang members with only his trusty handgun, I'm happy. All the lead CSI men have their own distinct personalities and I don't worry about them turning into each other.

The Ella storyline, while the end was a little OOC for Mac, I think his talk with Stella about what to do about that situation was absolutely wonderful. It was great to see the roles reversed, see Mac being the one led by his emotions and Stella being the one advising him to step back. It was an interesting insight into both characters, and shows how close they are. Absolutely loved Stella's smile when she came out of Mac's office!

Mac was smiling a lot too, this ep, which is nice. I love when he smiles.

LOL at Danny with the 'Viagra' cream:lol:

Loved Flack winding Stella up a little, and also Stella getting annoyed by Lindsay's long winded evidence explanations. She's told Mac off for being impatient with Lindsay before, I thought it was funny to see even Stella gets exasperated by that habit of Lindsay's sometimes.

I'm not a D/L fan, but Danny talking to the baby was cute. A tad unprofessional maybe but cute anyway. 'Daddy Danny' is cute. He looked nice in that blue shirt too, but ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I miss his specs sooooooooooooo much! I wonder why Carmine has made the sudden switch to contacts? Or maybe he got laser eye surgery? I really miss those glasses of his!

Loved Danny's line about loving Hawkes but wanting to hit him sometimes.

Re Mac and Ella....Mac needs to see Fatal Attraction. I suggest he come to my house to drink beer and watch it with me. Then I can scold him for going to see Ella, and then take his mind off all his worries....:devil: Ok, I'll shut up now!

I wish they would show NY at the same freakin' time every week and not have it shoved around all over the 9-10pm slot because of those long Saturday films they put on. I know I could wait to watch it at 9pm on Sunday on fiveUS, but I'm too impatient!

Hey, anyone else seen those Demand Five ads? I like the longer ones which have Mac, Stella, Adam and Danny from NY. Five do some good promotion for Five Demand and CSI Sunday etc. I loved that 'dark Christmas' thing they did for Christmas '08.

Macslady: You are so naughty!! When you have finished with Mac can you send him to Cambridge! Be gentle with him he has a lot of ladies wanting to take his mind of all his worries:devil::devil: Does he like wine?

I suppose it is good to see that Mac can be emotional about a victim. He often seems, well not cold, but very professional about the cases. It just seemed alittle unusual for him to act that way with Ella, but your right, he wont be turning into H anytime soon
Uhh- I loved the bit when Mac said 'boom.' They are all copying Danny now!

The dark Xmas promo was fab- Horatio as Santa. They have done some good ones. So have Living. It's a shame that the new ad they have for FiveUS that goes on forever and is really dull is on all the time now :(

    I really liked Saturdays episode.
The whole wedding part was sweet but a tiny little bit cheesy with the old clips the of them during the vows.
Adam was great in the episode, he has been great in the past few episode. Adam is now my favourite character!:)

Adam was fantastic! I thought he was great at the beginning, and looked cute playing hockey. :)

The clips during the wedding made it very cheesy. I'm not sure how I feel about Danny springing a surprise wedding on Lindsay either, with just Mac and Stella present. Not every woman's dream wedding, that's for sure.
