I am also bummed. Every few days I check out grissomsararomance.com to get news. I was shocked to see she has called it quits.

Anyone know how or where to get some of the great clips she posted?
I particularly want the marriage proposal scene *Clink*

I get most of my clips at BillyPetersenRocks, PureJorja, and SoBillyPetersen. They have tons of goodies.
Ok, now, I need to share my email from Rambo. I wrote him right after "Grissom's Divine Comedy" and asked him what we were supposed to listen to. He wrote me and told me to listen to the end of the show carefully. I'm putting it in the spoiler box.

I laughed and laughed until I hurt. That was really great. It's been so long since I have totally enjoyed an eppy, and I really did enjoy this one.
I loved that the wormy Hodges kept getting insulted. I loved the cases, loved seeing more of my Grissom. It was alot of fun.
My one thing is, what in the world did you want me to hear? I know that you said it was very subtle, but good grief! When the GSRers can't even "get it" it is too subtle. As you know, we count butterflies, the times anyone says GSR, anytime Grissom talks about love, romance, reads a poem, does anything. But we are all lost now and need you to help. Please?

The references I had alluded to are in the way Grissom talks about the connectedness between people being products of science. Writing it, I felt he wasn't just talking about the victims in the cases they had just solved. He seems to be saying that particles that were joined at one time could be joined again.

GSRromance.com was actually the first and only site I used for GSR related stuff a few years ago. I came to be a GSR lover in the middle of season six around Kiss Kiss Bye Bye. GSRromance.com helped me catch up on all of the great seasons I had missed. It has gone downhill in the last little while, but I will still miss it. :(

Anyway, my thoughts about the finale are very positive! The clips of Sara in the beginning of the promo and the stuff Rambo said in his email make me think we'll get a GSR reunion. I don't think we'll necessarily see her, but I think we'll definitely hear her! :)

Anyway, what are you guys talking about when you refer to the Sara clips in the Preview/Promo?

I went and watched my taped copy from last night and I saw NO sign of Sara?

Did anyone notice that in the last few episodes all of a sudden Grissom seems happy again? Maybe Sara is already back and we just don't know it. After all they dated for a year before we knew. If Sara was back but not planning on coming back to the lab would Grissom tell the team?

I totally agree - since the writer's strike break he has been almost back to his happy 'secretly dating Sara' self. And his face on the phone to her in GDC was relaxed happy, as opposed to desperate or heartbroken-grateful-for-any-communication happy(!). They are definitely building to a positive GSR reveal, but knowing TPTB it could be anything :D

About the Rambo letter - nice one Piper! - I'm so pleased he confirmed one of our (many!) guesses and that it is such a nice, positive angle - coming back together again, eh, eh?!! :beer:

We are referring to the series of flashback clips at the beginning which show more of Sara than anyone else... including under the car, nearly drowning, surviving (yay!) and leaving Las Vegas - this is on the CBS promo for the finale. Hope that helps!! :)

Hey, sports fans. Just popping to say, 'yes I am still kicking.' I've been a bit of a lurker of late. Trying to stay away from the spoilers, so not much to contribute.
BUT, I have been working on several fics - a couple of smutty ones with CSIGeekFan; and I've started a new video - using one of Orange_Cat's songs again.
I got my CD last week, and I gotta tell you all, IT"S TERRIFIC! Really. If there's no other music playing one of several songs of that CD pops into my head. Well done, Orange_Cat!

Okay, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. See you all in the funny papers.

Welcome back seattle how was Vegas? I hope everyone is correct on this week's finale, although it seems to be a strong Warrick based ep. but one never knows:thumbsup:can you all believe that the end of S/8 is already here:wtf:, it seems like yesterday when we were all waiting for "Dead Doll" geez this went fast, but then there was that nasty 3 month strike, so at least we got to see some GSR, at the beginning:thumbsup:

seattle you totally rock - that video is fantastic! Thanks again for using my music - it's very surreal to hear myself over a CSI fanvid on YouTube wow :D
The clips reminded me how much was going on throughout season 4 and how big a build-up it was for our fav couple with some massive turning points. I just love how they get sooo much into a single look, you know? All that desire and passion they try to bury or lock up but it just keeps seeping through. When they're totally worn down and can't fight anymore it's there waiting... like for poor Grissom in Butterflied

Hmm... and on the note of breaking down, I was watching Nesting Dolls again the other day and had a thought about the Grissom vs Ecklie/Catherine exchange at the end, although I'm sure others have said this before.... basically it suddenly hit me what Ecklie says at the end:

"She's a loose cannon with a gun and she's all yours"

I'm thinking maybe the 'she's all yours' part allowed Grissom to open himself to a relationship with her, like he could take it as permission almost. A slight rationalisation of his own to counter those work related fears about being intimate with her perhaps?


p.s. Congrats on the new digs desert! Glad you survived the casinos and madness too :thumbsup:

okay this is ridiculous i havent seen the last 4 episodes of CSI. i miss it. its my favorite show and i cant even watch them anymore barely without taping them. and it just doesnt have the same feel the next morning am i right? is the final scene of 8x15 on youtube yet? is there ANYWHERE else that i can catch it? i have spent my entire weekend looking (and cleaning up) after my drunk and hungover friends. one of them was 13:confused:. you cannot do that without a little CSI fuel in you ): i am very sad.
