I saw this and he seems like a really nice guy, so this will be interesting to see him as the new guy on CSI. Him and Letterman had a great time laughing it up:lol:

    I like that one. :)

    or maybe something like:

    'Ted/DB Moonbeam/Family Guy'
-not terribly creative but I like the 'Moonbeam' reference by Catherine

How about "Too Many Bubbles"? I loved that quote. Or "Sam Malone Sees Dead People" like Ted said in that interview. hehe.

Got to say I like "Sam Malone sees Dead People", but I also think "Easy Going Kind of Guy" would also fit really well with his character.

Did anyone get the impression that Ted added some bits which weren't in the script? I mean it's definitely not unheard and I think Petersen did it a couple of times.

Two particular moments stuck out to me: "Too many bubbles" and "argh, headrush." They definitely seemed like spontaneous comments said in the heat of the moment which I couldn't see being written on a script. I think he definitely appeared to veer away from the script slightly, but that's just my impression. Anybody else think similarly?

I recorded this interview the other day with Ted Danson on Indy Style. He talks about the autopsy and his respect for people in this line of work. He also talks about his first book and the work he's doing to help save the oceans. :)

I vote for it too! I was too young to get interested in Cheers, but my dad watched, and I do recall the theme song.

I like that they finally gave us someone with a family...it's not just Vegas, everyone is either divorced, widowed or single, with a few exceptions...Danny and Lindsay...Sara and Gil (but they're long distance)...Doc...I think Sid Hammerback...IDK about Miami, don't watch these days. I know Alexx had a family. But I'm glad they finally took a chance on LV. Plus, since his wife isn't a regular character, nobody will have to worry about what's common on NY, the ship overload since D and L were working together until this season.

Of course, my hurt/comfort obsession is going to get the better of me and I'm going to end up hoping to see her onscreen. I'd love a family target plot element after he's been around a while, not right off the bat, but IDK if it can be done without coming accross as cliched or cheesy.

BTW...we know about the college kid, but was it said if he has other kids?

In his background information TPTB has said DB has four kids. I don't know if that's changed or not since the only one mentioned so far is the boy in college.

Well, I was going to put up a poll to decide on a thread title. Looking through the suggestions tho the one that got the most positive comments seems to be "Sam Malone Sees Dead People". :)

I'm willing to go with that unless anyone feels strongly about another one or two and wants to put it to a vote. Perhaps something "Moonbeam" related? What say ye?

Well I will second the "Sam Malone Sees Dead People" But I think every suggestion that was made here, were fantastic. Definitely had a giggle at some of them as well.
