The experts think there is only a 45% chance that CSI: NY will be renewed?

Yeah for seasons 1 thru 10, they don't air the new season until the fall

I love how one site will be all gloom and doom for CSI:NY and another is almost sure it will be back. :shifty:

I hope NY is safe, it's done decently well for Fridays this year, and I enjoy watching reruns sometimes, I already lost Lie to Me today :(

No offense but I don't think that's all that reliable. It doesn't look all that reliable because it's pretty poorly typed.

    CSI: A sure thing.
    CSI: Miami: A sure thing.
CSI: NY: Could go either way. A safe bet. Could go either way.

http://www.tvline.com/2011/01/renew...-back-whats-getting-axed-whats-on-the-bubble/ the site is controlled by Michael Ausiello and I trust his resources.

I usually go by TV by the Numbers, they seem to be reliable.

Anyways, I enjoyed the Miami and NY finales much more than I enjoyed the Vegas one. I hope they all get picked up for 1 more season, but I have a gut feeling that at least 1 show is gone. :(

After the season finales, I wish it would be the mothership, as I have completly lost respect for virtually of the chracters with the season finale.

CSI:NY's season finale really felt like a series finale, and if it was the final episode, it was a brilliant ending.

The thing with it feeling like a series finale is that they planned it that way. They left it open ended enough so they could come back if it got renewed, but left people satisfied if it got cancelled. I don't think the tone of the finale indicates it's definitely the end of the series (and I'm not saying you're saying that, but I have seen people say that).

I really enjoyed the NY season finale! It was a great ending, but I certainly hope it comes back. I'm not ready to let it go! I love all the characters, and Sela deserves a chance at a 2nd season.

Miami was suspenseful, but I'm going to spend the summer optimistically and think that Natalia will survive. I don't know much about Eva, and I could tell her screen time increased significantly due to Emily's pregnancy, so I hope all the additional screen time wasn't because she was being written out and this was the last hurrah, so to speak.

As, for the mothership, I may have issues with certain things in the finale, but under no circumstances do I want to see it go! All I care about is less Ray next season, and a return to our previous team and some really cool cases.

The sad thing is... I don't think that's going to happen. That's why if I had to pick one to go, it'd be that one. Marg leaving is only going to make it worse.

In terms of quality, CSI: Vegas is just getting worse, that is why the viewers are dropping. CSI: Miami and NY are losing viewers because they are in god awful timeslots.

I think they are better off naming it The Langston vs Haskell Show. Not that I don't like Langston, but it was way overdone in Season 11.

It was the same thing with "Law & Order" (the mothership). The season finale was also written in such a way that it could have been the series finale . . . and that's what it turned out to be. But at the time it was written and filmed, I don't think it was set in stone yet that that was it, and the series would be cancelled.
