Praying for another season of CSI NY. It's the only one I do watch every week! <3

Well, technically none of the CSI shows are returning as of yet. No season orders have been issued.

Well if Marg Helgenberger is coming back to do some "guest" appearances as stated everywhere by her next season, then doesn't that mean there is going to be a S/12?:bolian:

Well, sure. She's talking about a season 12, but I think on a 'looking ahead' angle. I guess it's just a case of people not knowing how the industry works when it comes to these things, but it isn't official until CBS announces it. As of this writing, CBS has not announced that there's a season 12 (or season 10 or 8 for Miami and NY). At this point I think NCIS is the only show to get a season pickup.

My guess is that all three are renewed. Vegas and Miami stay in their slots (Thursday @ 9 and Sun @ 10) and NY gets moved to Friday @ 10 to make room for another pre-existing show or a new show.

Also, The Bubble Watch is usually more accurate than the Renewal/Cancel Index.
There, CSI: Vegas is marked as "Certain Renewal", Miami is marked as "Likely Renewal" and NY is marked as "On the Bubble" meaning it could go either way.

I think they are all amazing and should all continue as i would watch them. They show is great the actors are great, everything is great. However I think if they were going to cut one of the 3 or drop the franchise totally. They should, let Vegas go one more season to 12 the end it and keep the other 2 shows going untill the 12 season then end them all at 12 seasons, that way CSI would still be aroud for a while before it's canceled or dropped.
    Anyone else got any thoughts?

I had that same feeling about Cold Case, had it about Without a Trace too. I have to admit I too have that same feeling about NY, I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't feel like there will be an 8th Year, CC and WAT both ended at the end of Year 7, it isn't a good number for Bruckheimer shows

I really hope it comes back too. I want to see Sela get a chance to come back, one season is not long to develop a character, and I've really enjoyed her this year.

Gary tweeted today that they should know something by the 18th.

I will say this, despite some hits and misses, both CC and CSI NY have had strong episodes in their later seasons.
WAT was a joke by the end and I didn't feel the same sense of sadness I did with Cold Case and with CSI NY, whenever that may be.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed NY gets renewed...like ladybronco said it'd be nice to see Sela return, her character needs a chance to develop. I just think NY still has a tonne to tell us, and a load of stories to explore. I'm hoping they pick it up again.
