Cath's reaction to the 'with your clothes on' line was great, wish we could have more carefree flirting like that, even if it's just Cath on the phone to Lou in upcoming episodes.

So we can say that they are still sleeping together?:drool:I also want an indication that they are really serious but I will take what I can.They were amazing on thursday.I want more flirty scenes where he can tell her about seeing her without clothes!!

Does anyone think Vartan knows about Catherine and Warrick ? It looks that way .

I actually thought that he was referring to that when he first mentioned Warrick. But then he mentioned the rest of the team and I concluded that he really was making a reference more toward them as a team investigating the death. Though that's not to say he doesn't know. It would've been cool if he had been more direct on commenting about her and Warrick and see an exchange between them about this information. Anyway, the scene was great and I loved the episode so I'm not complaining. When he walked in and said "you only need one" awwwww. And yes Ray you should've left :shifty::shifty:

Maybe that's why Vartann waited to ask Catherine out. He knew she had a thing for Warrick and gave her time to mourn before he made his move.

I interpreted the scene the same way,hg17 becouse they were talking about ann marie..Maybe he thinks the same way as Catherine when she was talking about ancient history.I like to think that he is her future.Any information about upcoming episodes with our couple?

Hopefully Vartann will be back in the finale but i don't imagine we'll see him again before then.

I read Marg interview and I am so hopeful that we will get a happy ending for our couple.Catherine had so many bad relationships, that now that she has a good one,she needs to keep him forever.If not ,I will be so mad becouse why give us this couple,just to end it?

Does anyone know if Vartann will be showing up before the end of the season, i'm failing to be even remotely interested in the finale and its a long wait till next season to find out the state of play between Cath and Vartann.

On another note i was watching Fur and Loathing recently and when Cath says 'i like hairy chests but i'm not about to bop a six foot weasle' i imagined Brass and Vartann entering at that moment with Brass introducing Vartann as the new Detective to the force .

Watching old seasons makes me think of some great scenes where Cath and Vartann together would have been brilliant (especially if he'd been around when Eddie was).

No Vartann in the finale. But according to Marg, she is making a few appearances next season. So I'm thinking that Vartann will also be including in Catherine's exit story. A BIG spoiler is that Grissom is set to make a few appearances also. I'm sure he'll have a lot to say to Catherine about chasing her heart and being happy with Vartann like he is with Sara. At least that's my hope anyway.

I would also like to see a scene between Catherine and Lou where they are just talking. Not really about a case, but just talking. Either in a diner or at home or something where we can see how much they care about each other. Not like the sex scene wasn't proof enough, but perhaps she does move in with him? On Grissom's encouragement? That's what I'd like to see before Catherine leaves CSI. Anyone else?

Spoiler: this season and the next

Gutted that Vartann isn't in the finale, it was the only thing that had me interested in watching. It's a shame we'll end the season on The List as it's still uncertain as to the state of Cath and Lou's relationship.

Hopefully we'll at least get some reference to their relationship in the finale (although i won't hold my breath).

It's a long wait till next season but hopefully we'll see a happy resolution to Cath's storyline that involves her and Vartann. I'm sure Marg mentioned that William Peterson had come with an idea for her exit so i'm slightly apprehensive that Catherine's future won't involve Vartann. Looking forward to seeing what will happen but yeah it sucks that we won't have another Cath/Lou moment this season. I was hoping for a nice quiet scene between the two outside of work (maybe we'll see her phoning Vartann or something).

Bumping this one up...

Spoiler: season 12

So some spoilers are coming out about the premiere and Marg's exit from the show and such.
A spoiler suggests that when the show returns, Cath gets demoted and takes it out on Nicky.

So here's my thoughts...

She takes it out on Nicky momentarily, Lou tells her to calm down, apologize to Nicky and to think about her exit from CSI. I'm going with the notion that Lou already knows of Catherine's intentions of leaving CSI and even perhaps to pursue her desire to work in Sam's casino. I'm also assuming that they made up, or have 'started over' as you will.

The 3rd episode of the season is titled Bittersweet. I'm wondering if Vartann is in that episode and if it's going to be a break up for them, or just Catherine reflecting on her time at CSI?

Thoughts anyone?
