    You are right of course about TPTB and the teasing and twisiting of things.It seemed more to me that you didn't want to see it happen.I do know that there is a huge possibility that it won't happen,but I'm not going to say that I don't want it to happen which is what I got from you previous post,not that you didn't want to get your hopes up.

    When I first heard about it, I was annoyed (but it was also a bad week for me for more than one reason lol). Now having seen the actress cast in the role, I'm a little calmer about it. I was worried about who they would cast. And while there were other actresses I would have preferred to see in the role, this girl does look like she'd mesh well with Ryan (despite the age difference). Though I would have rather he had a relationship with the sketch artist lady or someone outside of the lab, but whatever LOL. I'm just worried about how a possible romance would be betrayed giving tptb's track record with romantic relationships LOL. Hopefully they'll have chemistry on-screen. :)

    I just wonder why they made this new girl a trace tech when we already have Travers rather than another kind of tech like what Henry on Vegas is ... he deals with testing toxins mostly I think. Miami doesn't have one of those kinds of techs yet LOL. It just seems strange that they'd make her another trace tech. Unless she's just gonna fill in for Travers when he can't come in to work... kind of like Dr. Victoria did for Tom.

    other four took off and now are wrapped up in huge fantasy.

    i wonder whether i shoul put my other wonderings into spoiler boxes, but since i don't know how i may not try.
    but really why is everything in spoiler boxes? :confused:
    hmm surely if that's because the things haven't happened, or other reason.....

    Im not going to get my hopes up just yet about there being anything between Ryan and this new lab tech. There is nothing definite about it, and she may just go the way of previous lab techs in Miami and disappear completely after a few epis. I quite like the idea of Ryan getting a bit of romance. As long as it isnt too in your face, and it is kept in the background, I think it would add to his character- and in a positive way for a change

    Well, if I dont get on here again this week, I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and New Year! :)

    I won't get my hopes either,though I would like to see it.I thought it would be perfect because the tech maybe a recurring role so it wouldn't be in your face and full of drama and peril.It would also add a layer to Ryan's most needed character development,in a positive way. If not a romance,perhaps we will see something else that is great for Ryan.
