"418/427" Discussion thread **Spoilers**

Jorja was in some promo-shots for the episode, and the clip, so yeah, she's in this one.

I'm hoping that we get more speaking parts from Officer Akers again. Larry Sullivan is becoming one of my favorite recurring actors.

I am really excited to see a new eppy. :) Sounds like a interesting plot.
I am glad that Archie & Henry will be in this one.

Not really happy that is will be the last until Jan. :(

Well that was an awfully sad episode. :( The kid who played Trent did a really good job!

Loved Brass and the little girl. :) And Nick asking Hodges..."Itchy"...if he had bedbugs and him saying no, his mom is very clean.

Ray wasn't in it...:) Never even missed him!
 That was my first thought too. It shows the show could have lived on without him.

It was a good episode, although I sort of thought from the beginning the FBI Husband was the one who shot her. The rest was different though.

I am slightly confused why Hodges all of the sudden is doing everything. Couldn't Mandy been around to do the prints? And why was Hodges at the scene when Greg was free to be there?

IN any case, I did like the episode. I just don't know why they always end up before the holidays on such a sad episode.

Yay for no Ray! Didn't notice he was missing until the final five minutes. That made it seem like the CSI of old.

Great Brass episode. The scene at the end with him holding the little girl's hand as they walked away - so adorable.

The rest of the team all had small parts, but the parts they had were great - like Sara talking to Trent & trying to get the gun away from him, or Cath & Brass watching FBI guy confess to Trent. My boy Akers even got a speaking part again too. Loved it!

I figured right away that it was FBI guy who killed the wife, but thought it was Gauss who eventually took the daughter. Nice twist on that, with Gauss just being a "decoy".

Holy moly.I never noticed Ray was missing either..

Brass rocked! Oh it was good to see him again.

What a sad, sad episode. The FBI was a jerk! I feel sorry for Trent.

Just for the record, from what I've read..most Schizophrenics are more of a danger to themselves than to other people. I hate it when they show them as violent.

Sara was great with Trent. She showed a lot of compassion which is what Schizophrenics need.:(

I loved Nicky's line too! It made me laugh out loud. I'm beginning to think that Hodges is never going to move out of his mother's house.

I didn't even realize that Ray wasn't around until I read it in the thread. Guess it didn't bother me. :p
