I have some great news here. Our lovely lady got herself a gig on the CW's The Vampires Diaries. She'll play the "irresponsible, hard-drinking absentee mother" of Matt and Vicky, according to Ausiello. She'll appear in at least 3 episodes starting this March.
I personally don't watch this show (and it is not airing in France either) so I really don't know the quality of the show but of course I will watch for Melinda and make the screencaps available at MCO as well. I hope for some promotional photos and videos to add to the site as well.

i watched the pilot episode of VD. it's a high school vampire show that targets teenage audience. not my cup of tea, really (i'm a True Blood type of gal) but it seems some people like it.

While I'm very happy to see Melinda back on TV for a few episodes I really hope for her to have a regular gig on a bigger show. She deserves it.

I agree with you completely. That's why I don't watch.

I hope Melinda gets a regular gig. She's so good and does deserve it.

Oh, I did see her in Chuck last week. Her accent was so funny...:lol:

ladyhunter, I loved her as Sasha Banachek in Chuck, she was fantastic. It was a little weird to hear her with that fake Russian accent but it was very funny. :lol:

I just miss that woman a lot and really need to have my weekly dose again.

Yes, my husband's a die-hard Lady Heather fan. He never misses one of her episodes. Though I don't know how they'd pull it off with Grissom gone, I'd really like to see her come back for at least something. As good as she was, I'd sort of like to see her team up with Dr. Langston to solve a crime.
