Yelina Salas #2: 'Get Back To Where You Once Belonged'

I LUUUVVVV Italy! The food, the sights, the people - all are magic!

Nice to see you again, silk!

All I know about The Border is that little blurb I pasted here. And its not a new series, but just a mini-series, as I understand it.

Yeah, at least she wears sensible shoes when sight-seeing!

^She looks like she's enjoying it, tho', doesn't she? Can you imagine what it would be like to be followed all day long like that? Blahh!

I think I would pull a Björk...

Unfortunately I've only been to Italy once and that was 15 years ago. :( Would love to see Tuscany and Rome and Pompei. Well I would love to see a lot of places not just in Italy. - me on holiday exploring the world.

Nice pictures, cute dog too!

I've visited Rome & Pompei in '98 it was a blast! Together with some other places like Capri, Piano Di Sorrento etc.. :D

Aww! The picture with the puppy is just adorable! Nice to see she's an animal lover, too. Her Bf is a hunk! Lucky lady... I love the pictures you all are finding of our favorite people just being people. The cast seems to be just darn nice people - no hit and runs, no DUI's, no beating up on paparazzi - just good people who can have fun and provide entertainment for their fans.

Thanx so much for posting those pics drgnldy!!
She looks adorable with that dog!! :D

They show "Passionada" here today. Unfortunately I couldn't watch it (I was in class ) but I made my mother typed it for me; she refused at first but finally agreed. When I got home she thanked me because she absolutely loved it!!! :D
I was like “told you so”
Is really her singing? I didn't watch it yet (I can't until saturday :() but she told me about it...I can't wait to see it now...

^ As I know yes SM really sing in "Passionada". She was singing for her lost husband and the music style is Fado (means fate in Portuguese). "Passionada" is an charming, funny and surprising love story and I`m sure u will like it a lot. ;)

Passionada is indeed a very good movie, had a couple of very good moments. When she crawls on that bike. Or when he's in the restaurant, ordering dishes he clearly doesn't know , she tells him very dryly he just ordered three soups etc. Gonna buy that dvd soon, I wanne see it again!

Sorry to disappoint you all, but Sofia is not really singing in that movie. If you have the opportunity to listen to the commentary, you will hear them talking about it. Actually, she did sing while they were taping, but later it was dubbed. The real singer is called "Misia", and the two songs from the movie are on her CD, Paixoes Diagonais. It's a very beautiful fado album, and has English translation of every song. What I like is that their voices sound enough alike that it could be Sofia. Here is a link that mentions it. http://www.aboutfilm.com/movies/p/passionada.htm

But it is a great movie, isn't it? Sofia is gorgeous as always, and displays good acting talent.

My mother's boyfriend flew in a fado singer for my mum's 60th birthday. (Okay so that makes it sound like we're loaded or something, but trust me, we're not). They (mum+boyfriend) had seen her perform by chance while vacationing in Rome (see: sort of on topic) and my mum loved her. So that was his gift. Pretty cool, huh? :)

I'm sorry for the double post...
I had an error page and I thought the post didn't get through but it did :(

Oh, I was exited to listen to her singing...
Trying to found out if it was really her I read and article that said that the songs were performed by the singer you named but that Sofia had record them so I asumed it was her on t he movie...
Anyway, I know I'm gonna love it :D I'm hoping to see it tomorrow...I have so much to study that I don't know if I gonna have the time :(...this is the first time I touch the computer in days! I missed it!

I've finally watched "Passionada" :D
I loved it! It was great to see her out of Miami!! (I haven't seen her on anything...) Although, I wish it was in English...it was in Spanish :( and it's not the same...specially considering that Sofia's voice isn't exactly what you would call simple. I still enjoyed it very much tho, she's just breathtaking... :D

 the promo pic was posted in the picture thread first, then the H/Y thread, but we still all agree she looks amazing in that white suit.
