As much as possible, I don't like to sterotype or be prejudiced with regards to some Divas. Ya know, often stereotyped as the fake-boobs and just plain skanky? Before, during the era of female-wrestlers like Chyna, they were stereotyped as the steroid-muscled up women... kind of gross. Odd, if you may call it. I look at some of the Divas WWE or even ECW have today and well, they focus more (IMHO) on the size of their chest rather than their in-ring talent.
See?
Trish Stratus is an excemption. She's got the beauty and she's got the brawn. Too bad if she won't come back once her contract expires this August (like
CaptainMiracle said). Plus, Trish is a decent pinner, she tucks in the opponent's shoulder as to avoid rolling it up.
Hate to drop names, but "wrestlers" like Candice are only hired because, in their (WWE's) POV, they've got looks. Hell, Candice isn't even pretty. Let alone talented in the ring. She's there so she could be like every man's fantasy and be a... what's the word for it? Erm, like, Lady Heather? A dominatrix? Okay, just take that figuratively, okay?
But my opinion made me have second thoughts. Like a few weeks ago, when I was watching SmackDown! and Ashley came up to Michelle McCool (The week before that, there was a bikini contest that Ashley won and when it was time for Michelle to show off, she walked off because she found that the audience didn't deserve her "A plus body". -whatever, Michelle-), so, Ashley challenged Michelle to have a one-on-one bikini contest and again, Michelle declined. She criticized (overstatement) Ashley for being too... erm... how will I put it? Michelle didn't appreciate how Ashley dressed and she didn't like Ashley's tats, but they're cool. Anyway, Ashley shot back saying she's confident about her body, she loves it and she's not afraid to show it (and by it, showing her confidence).
It made me think, what a cool thing... \m/. More women should feel that way about theirself. We're all bootylicious . I admit, sometimes, I don't feel that confident about how I look, and everytime I see Ashley and once she said that, I was like, wow, I ought to think that way. I ought to be proud of my body and not be afraid to dress the way I want.
Long post, eh? Please bear with me and read it coz it took a lot of thoughts for me to type that. It's kind of offensive that I write all these and no one's even gonna give a damn about it...
