so why is he barefoot on the other pic?! i don't get it :|

It's cos that pic is based on the cover of the Beatles record 'Abbey Road'.

And in that, Paul McCartney is barefoot.

it's a reference to the Beatles record cover "Abbey Road" (wiki) and possibly also a play with the "Paul is dead" conspiracy theory (wiki) which is partly based on that picture.

I'm not sure that the CSI photographers or the people who put this picture together even had "Abby Road" in mind, maybe they thought it was their idea I never thought about it either way, I have that album, and the pic.was in S/7, and Grissom is still very much alive, so I'm not sure that this had any connection, but just a weird pic. with him, or maybe they did:vulcan:who knows? here's some caps. from one of his movies, "Deadly Currents" from 1993 till we get some new pics.and the new feature on this up-dated site is cool, where you can go to the last post:thumbsup:

The Crossroad pic is a play on the "Abbey Road/Paul is Dead" thing. Here's the full pic, sorry it's small, it's all I've got

It was about Grissom being "Gone", and who was replacing him, promo thing. Very well done, shame they didn't show the full shot, and lots of people didn't get the whole Abbey road, Paul thing, but still very good IMO.
