Why Lindsay REALLY Must Go (Pt. 2)

^Lindsay is pretty much useless in EVERY episode i've seen so far  She's only ever there to A) quote the obvious, B)whine about something, or C) cry about some deep dark secret. (thank goodness thats over at least)

Now all we see her doing is A....which, as long as she stays in the lab and away from everyone else, is fine with me. The fact that they are still attempting to put her at the forefront while doing it is what is really killing me.

...and since we're talking dogs, i'm thinking Great Dane or Mastiff...might be easier for one of them to get past that swelled head of hers :D

^I have to say, one thing I'm grateful for this season is that it doesn't seem like she's being pushed to the forefront that much. Other than giving a lot of exposition, she really hasn't had much to do this season at all. And that's fine with me. The less Lindsay, the better for the show in my book.

You know. I don't watch NY as much as I should (I guess living here ruins it for me - I don't like the way they present the city), but I actualy missed the episode/s her 'big secret' was revealed.

And you know what? I don't even care!

Noramlly, if I miss something on a show, I'll make a bit of an effort to look it up (yeah, I'm sad like that) but I just really didn't care what it was.

I think that says a lot.

^^Yeah, so far, she's faded and become a bit of a 'background' character. I say keep on fading...

I just realized who Lindsay reminded me of. Britney Spears. One minute they're all happy and weeeeeee and the next they're all pouty, winey and complaining. They are just all over the place. The only real difference for me is that I still like Britney. Lindsay makes me angry.

She may not be forefront in the stories in the eps, but she's still in the main credits...if she really is just there to quote information and bascially be more background, they should be thinking of making her a reoccuring character, if anything...Adam's on the show less than her, and still makes more of a contribution.

   You do realize the press is now saying Britney is bipolar and has serious psychological problems at the very least, right? She's already been in and out of rehab centers for years, and rumor has it she's going to be sent to a psych ward.

Well, Lindsay, looks like we know where you're headed if you're Britney V.2 ...

^^Sadly, that would be more a interesting direction to take Lindsay in--although I doubt she could continue to be on the team if that were the case.

(No, I'm not saying that I enjoy getting cheap thrills out of Britney's latest drama--I think it's sad and she deserves to deal with her problems without the paparazzi in her face--but this is a television show, therefore fictional, therefore not real. Plus, the show is about murder and other sorts of crime--if we're getting entertainment out of that, I think having realistic problems--shown accurately--is alright.)

Yes, it would be interesting to see them go that route. It would certainly explain her strange behavior to find out she was mentally unstable.

In the first WLMG thread, we had talked about her turning into a serial killer or something. I think it would fit in with the show well and could make for an interesting ongoing story. She IS a CSI. She could probably pull of a few murders before she slipped up and was discovered. Bonus points if she leaves Danny for last and Flack gets to rescue him. :p

I think I would actually cry if Anna tried that. Playing extreme characters like that is always a hit or miss. I'm sorry, I think she would butcher it to no end. That would by far be her most cringe worthy moment.

But a cringe-worthy moment that would hopefully lead to a Lindsay-free show. When you balance the pros and cons...

That right there would make it all worth it...no more Lindsay! Sometimes you just gotta take one for the team. :p Would it really be any worse than the crap we've been putting up with?

 Very true. If I knew the end was near, I'd be amused--rather than mortified--by the shit-tasticness.

And hell, it would give the character a purpose--at this point, it doesn't really feel like she's contributing anything to the show except a body to fill up the scene, a mouth to say the lines, and boobs for to be fondled by the resident hottie (*cringe*)...

Yeeeah, I think having her be a bad-guy would fit nicely. And hell, they could even make it a long-term storyline. You know, these mysterious deaths, and Mac and company are frustrated because they can't find any leads--it wouldn't even require Lindsay to be acknowledged as being involved until they finally uncover the truth. Then we could see her single episode of psycho-ness (and hey, they could try to incorporate the scrunch face and the utterly blank look in her eyes so it's intentional) and then YAY, NO MORE LINDSAY.

^I kind of like the idea of her going psycho. She could threaten Danny and well, we know who would be more than happy to off her then. Death by Flack would be a great way for Lindsay to go.

And count me as one who would suffer through a little bad acting in exchange for never having to see Lindsay on the show again. Besides, she did okay in that part where Lindsay went a little psycho at the end of "Stealing Home."

^Hurt Danny, and you're guaranteed DBF.
