Ah, Lindsay's "dark secret". I remember that. It's possible that it was never revisited because up until Silent Night she had pretty much put it behind her. Then she gets the call about the fact that they caught the guy, and it brought all of that baggage back. Maybe it was never revisited to show that she's put it behind her again, but it was faster to do so because she doesn't need to worry about who did it?
I dunno. Maybe TPTB just didn't want to give her any OhMyGodMyPast scenes.
I think she great! May be it's the writers. They write the, she acts. There where times I thought Stella, didn't show any emotions. Sometimes, she sticks to Mac like glue. The only way Lindsay can show it, if the writers write it!!!!

When they do write it she doesn't show it and that's a huge problem. I will say it's definitely a combination of writing and acting, but the thing is they BOTH make up the character and BOTH contribute to what is wrong with the character.

I think Stella earned a lot of audience cheers when she told Lindsay to get her act together (in a more subtle way than that, of course) in Silent Night. Even Lindsay/DL fans must have seen that that was a totally self-centred and unsympathetic way to behave.
