What is your favourite anime?

Fullmetal Alchemist, Read or Die, Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, Marmalade Boy [books], Naruto, Cowboy BeBop, InuYasha, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, s-CRY-ed, another one but I don't remember the name of it.
 
I wanna revive this thread.

I didn't know there was an anime thread and I have to say that my overall favorite anime was the first anime I ever saw: Sailor Moon. :)
There were others after that, but that introduced me to shipping and fanfic and other fan related things, so really it was my first anime and first lead-in to the internet fan base community.

...Garfield anime? :p Reminds me that Jon Arbuckle finally got himself a girlfriend (unless it's an actual anime named Garfield, then just disregard what I said!)

On another note, I found out that the Powerpuff Girls were converted to "anime style" when they were shown in Japan. Info is on wikipedia (even if I do distrust it from time to time...)
 
omg sailor moon! i effin love that show...too bad it doesnt come on anymore though...it is very sad :( i used to have the bioggest cruch on darian! it was kinda pathetic...but i was younger! hahah i miss that show so much me and my friend levon used to watch re uns and videos of it together when we had sleepovers! it was so much funn!
 
I would have to say DragonBall including Z and GT. My brother hooked me on to it one day. Goku is my favorite character even though he can be SO stupid at times!!! LOL!!!

But when it comes to fighting he's off the chain with his. Him and Vegeta crack me up especially when they're fused.

i collect Detective Conan/Case Close and Kare Kano/His and Her... mangas now. Im working on it :p

I love a lot of anime since i grew up watching them in my country. :D
 
My favorite anime must probably be Inuyasha , but followed by Sailor Moon ... I just finished watching both of them and I remembered my childhood spent with Sailor Moon . I am angry because they didn't continue Inuyasha ... man , that was so cool .
 
I used to be a HUGE anime and manga fan, I had it all-- t-shirts, action figures, merchandise, posters. I had an entire library full of manga (I still love manga, but I don't buy it anymore. Sometimes I'll re-read the ones I have). My biggest obsessions were:

- Sailor Moon
- Inuyasha (Sango squeee! :D)
- Wolf's Rain
- Cowboy Bebop
- Gravitation <3
- One Piece
- Rave Master
- Fruits Basket
- Chrno Crusade
- Witch Hunter Robin
- Pokemon (don't laugh, you KNOW you watched it :rolleyes:)
- Naruto (the japanese *original* version was the best. The english-dubbed version sucks)
- Rurouni Kenshin
- Dragonball Z
- Trigun
- Yu-Gi-Oh!

Gosh, I was a geek :lol: I still love anime though, but don't watch it unless it's on and there's nothing else on.
 
no so i totally was in love (at one point) with Pokemon... lol i am guilty... and i am with you Quoth, on the Sailor moon.... watched that ALL the time. thought they were soooo cool! :D
 
I used to watch Sailor Moon when I was in like first grade... Sailor Moon was a huge deal for me :p I watched it until I was in fifth grade, I think. I was also a big fan of the manga. I loved it :D
 
i love those animes too but i never had a chance to see the endings! ugh. and some of em turn out to be pretty long :lol: not that i mind...
 
But what is your favorite anime character ? Why ?
I like Inuyasha ... he is so cute ... and brave . I just love him ...
