I got Gimp, but have not figured it out at all yet. I'm trying to create a Riley icon, but Gimp complains about the picture I'm trying to use. The picture is definitely a jpeg, but Gimp complains that it isn't. Any suggestions?
 
Hey, it's really great to see you guys looking for new ways to work on fan art and such, and it's always fantastic that you're willing to help each other out! But... in the future, can we move this discussion to the Fan art forum guide, and leave this thread for the wallpapers?

Thanks! I'm such a font addict! It's called 'MA Sexy' but I can't remember where I got it from, sorry!

Wow, so many fantastic walls. Some Feedback from my end... :)

shazza... The carwash wallie from the challenge is really cool. I also love the colouring on the other ones, especially on the Cath one. :) For the newest one... nice colouring and lovely background work! :)

kaylyne... I really like the style of the last two wallies, cathboth and rileymystery as well as from csmoment and gregdirty. Great work on the text and arrangement! :) I also love the cathhug one! What an idea!! LOL!

egeria... The nick wall and your Cath/Gil lyrics wallie is lovely. Especially nice work on the latter in front against background action. Hope you don't mind when I say, proportional scaling would have helped to even optimizing this effect. In Photoshop, you scale proportional while holding the Shift-Key. :)

As for all those I missed out now... you all do great! Art can be so freeing. You do whatever you feel and it always turns out good! So keep it up! :D
