I really don't see them going out to a club (at least not very often). Vartann seems more of the laid back type. He seems to be the "gentleman" type. He even opened the door for Cath when they went into that tourism office where they found the dead bodies.

I could see them out for dinner & a movie, or a small table at a coffee house, or even a quiet night at Cath's house with Lindsey watching a movie. Gotta include Lindsey, you know, if you're going to get in Cath's good graces!

I could even see the three of them on a picnic in a park with Lindsey playing on the playground and VW on a blanket under a tree, just watching her having fun.

I was thinking about Lindsey too, maybe HE could take her to school one day or take her to the movies, just her and him
I don't think he would have a problem with Lindsey in fact that would be one of the reasons he likes Catherine so much he likes Lindsey too!

Oh those are really sweet scenarios kaylyne and hhunter. :) I could so see them going for dinner and movie and strolling in the park with Lindsey of course.

Oh btw, I just noticed this on 6x23 Bang Bang, I think Vartann is a "ill-give-you-flowers" type of guy! lol! :D After I saw this scene I could see him bringing flowers for Cath everyday.
This is what happened in Bang Bang
Vartann sees the red flower and holds it as if he wanted to pick it up and give it to Cath:

But then Cath suddenly looked towards his way and so he looked at her instead:

dang! Cath and her timing! That could've been the right moment to surprise her with that red flower from the side walk :lol:

Oh but you know Cath loves to go out for drinks from time to time, and it seems that the detects on CSI love to go out for drinks too, I could also see V&W hanging out in a bar.. drinking.. and maybe even dancing.

Yeah, he definitely seems like the flowers-type. Sending flowers "just because", also buying little gifts "just because". The more expensive gifts would be for the special occasions. And he seems like a guy who would remember all of the special dates (in his head, no datebook needed).

Yes, I can see them going occasionally to a bar and dancing - but a small, quieter bar. I don't really see them at a noisy, raucus club (like "Acid drop") where you have to yell at each other just to be heard. (remember Cath said she tries to avoid those places) I see their relationship as "quieter" - based on simple, loving gestures & words.

Jeez, I just realized that I'm describing the perfect man. Somebody please write a fic on this!!!!

Kaylyne , I have it on pen and paper, you girls insipred me to write one, but you'll have to go easy on me, it's my first Catherine fic.
And yes, the flowers for her and something for Lindsey too, a small token, but something she would cherish.
He would do that for both of them
and yes, a quieter place
mainly out for coffee at their favorite place to meet after work or a small diner off the strip where they can just "look at each other" :D

LMFAO! Indeed. But Vartann is so fine, I don't doubt it that he could be the perfect man. TPTB just went bonkers with their little Vartann boo-boo in Big Middle.

Ooooh can't wait for your fic, hhunter! Don't forget to update us with the fic! Question, is it fluff? smut? angst? :D

If I remember it right btw, Vartann and Cath never fail to say "hi" or "hey" to each other.. saw it in a couple of episodes they were together. :D Hmm kinda reminds me of the popular movie line, "you had me at hello.." Well for V&W its "you had me at hey.." :lol:

and too bad about the comment in Big Middle I would hate to see him actually be like that, you know.. mean, but I don't think he is :D
and the fic.. well it's not quite fluff, not smut.. yet ;)

Oh me loves me some Vartann!Angst. :) Does it have some backstory on Vartann? Like why he went to Vegas and such? Eeep sorry for too many questions.. can't wait for your fic! :D

Oh and I kinda remember the ep where they said hi, hey.. it was either in Crow's Feet or Viva Las Vegas.

Yeah, his comment in "Big Middle" threw me for a loop. Although, I just attributed it to him being around "the guys" at the time. If he had made those comments within Cath's hearing - Oh I can just imagine the lesson that she would teach him about being insensitive.

Hottie - VLV was "hey" and "hey"; CF was "hey" and "hi". So I guess we can conclude that "Hey" is at least part of their official greeting.

It thought it was cute that in iced Vartann knew Cath was out on a case, but didn't know what Grissom was doing! (Keeping tabs on his better half, is he?)

Girls, i just got back from holidays (laying on the beach is great, :) but no internet access unfortunately! :(), and before i leave again tomorrow :p, i want to say i loved the little senarios about how V&W met, and i'd like to add that he was quite shy around her at first, she was always so dynamic and sexy, and he just couldn't find a way to talk to her, so when he finally had the courage to speak to her, he couldn't say more than a "Hey", Cathrine replied with a "hi", and they greeted each other this way ever since... ;)

Hottie_Cath amazing pics, and i so see in V the gentleman who offers flowers and tries to make a girl happy with little everyday gestures... :) :D *deep sighs*

He is so perfect...unless hhunter writes sth about his dark secret in the fic :lol: (what if in the past he was accused of accidently shooting a suspect and he was off duty for a while, and Cath was the CSI that helped him clear his name??..Maybe that's how they met!! :)...He immediately fell for her ever since... Just an idea... :rolleyes:)

and does anyone know where to find photos of these two?
I guess I haven't looked hard enough :eek:
and I'm not sure how they met, maybe a case, or before, that's my theroy. :biggirn:
