As with what Luce said, you're not the only one torn up over Sofia/Yelina leaving. There was a lot left unexplained concerning her and Sofia is such a great actress it has been a tremendous loss to the show and for us. Oh, if I could just have the writers' ears for just a few minutes :mad:

I agree, she was a great character and the writers could have done so much more with her too. Let's just hope she comes back before too long. ;)

Always good to see a show of support Zan1781 and we all feel the same way here. Yelina was definately a great character and we all miss her and hope for her eventual return.

I would love for them to bring her back. She belongs with Horatio. I cannot believe either that she is going to forgive Ray for all that he has done.

The only thing I have not been able to understand is if she was written out to put suspense on the show. That is why her leaving has been left open-ended.

Or did she ask to be written out of the show the same way that Speed did? That is one thing that I need help with.
I certainly hope that it was for suspense as I would love to see her back.

No, it wasn't Sofia's choice to leave the show. She didn't know that she was being written out until after Season 3 had finished!

Apparently, the shows' producers have said that they would love to see her back, but there's no timeframe. I don't think Yelina features in their plans at the moment, but she could well feature again in the future. :)

We were all equally suprised when we learned that Yelina/Sofia might not return to the show. However, we have kept rather optimistic through all this and I hope you will too StarFan1 :).
Personally, I check her site everyday for updates as to her status on the show but there still has been nothing as of yet.

i have one question how according u guys writers must return Y back in the show. they make mess with her departure for Brazil....but we can write the right thing in the right time :D

for me H get shoot and she is BACK :)

Well, I thought of 2 possibilities, but they're not earth shattering! ;)

1) We know that Yelina's mother lives in Miami, so maybe she could be sick and Y has to come home.

2) Madison needs bone marrow from Ray Jnr. This is still unresolved. In reality, Maddy would have needed the transplant by now, but in TV Land, anything is possible. We still don't know if Ray Jnr was a match or what happened. Is she still sick? Is she cured? Maybe Ray Jnr wasn't a match, and her father, Raymond Caine, has to come back to be tested. Now, that would be interesting! :D

I agree though, I would love for H to be hurt (not fatally of course! :eek:) and Y and family have to come back to be with him. Be still my heart!

Raymond coming back to be tested would definately beat any of the crazy Season 4 plotlines that've happened this season.
I think a lot of us, right now, are just scratching our heads asking what has gotten into the writers' minds!

Hey, if it takes H getting a little bit hurt to save our faith in the writers, I think it's a small price to pay.

not that i want him hurt, but hurt enough to bring her back would be really nice

oh and by the way, Hi guys!! i never knew that this thread existed but i am a huge fan of sophia, so i have to post! :D

she is such an amazing actress and defintly so beautiful!

and last but certainly not least, PLEASE TPTB, bring her back! :D

mabe be F must call Y so she come to Miami again, because H will suffering enough with M possibly death...
