i hope Yelina Salas comes back! leaving her in Brazil for awhile makes sense. it's very good to know she hasn't been forgotten. i'm really going to miss scenes between H and Y. they have been a little break from the case and have been so full of emotion and tension.

The writers have seemingly left the door open for Yelina's possible return in the end of S3. But S 4 go so badly (for waht i read in the forums) and suppose they forgot her.

When i watch S3 i have been wait almost whole seasen to heard this:
( absolutely loved that scene in 'Whacked' )

H: Well, it looks as if you didn't need me afterall!
Y: That's not true....and that will never be true.


PS don`t want to comment episod '10-7' because i only get med and sad.

^^^ I really hope she returns, I think that maybe she will the storyline has been left for a possible return (just speculating).

I really can't get over the forgiving of Ray in a flash! I thought that was awful how that panned out.

That piece of dialogue was really wonderful in 'Whacked'.
I too found the end of '10-7' unconvincing. I can't believe that Yelina would forgive Ray just like that either, not after all he has put the family through, plus his infidelity.

In my own thoughts, I figure that their relationship won't recover from that. They may try to work things out, and address their many 'issues', but ultimately, I would be very surprised if they could make a successful go of it.

I'm really hoping that the H/Ray/Yelina storyarc returns one day, as it really is far from resolved. I think that Ann Donahue may well think about doing that, but I expect it won't be for quite some time yet. It would be a great storyarc to fall back on in the future, as it has been left open-ended.

I think they will return to this storyarc, but not soon. It could be a great dramatic scenario that they will save for the future.

The way things are going, Yelina will need to brace herself for all the angst that H has had to suffer while she's been gone!

The poor man is going to need therapy after all this angst the writers are subjecting him too.

This current angst will only be followed by even more angst too! Maybe, by the time Yelina (hopefully) returns to the show, he'll be all angsted-out!

I think she'll be away awhile too, but it would be a great storyarc to return to. It's still nicely hanging in the balance.

The writers need to think of a reason for her return that is worthy of her character.

somehow when Y left the show H lose part of his self. i think she complement him, make his characther more full and human (real). no way somebady else to "push" H to smile every time when SHE arrive. and hi did it so sweet always when Y come to him no matter thaT they can`t be together somehow his "suffer" was more reasonable - for difference now in S4. there is no need when (i hope) Y come back from Brazil she and H to be couple, but i miss so much theirs 'silent' (unspoken) conversation with eyes...and after each theirs meeting somehow H is a little recover form his 'angst'...no need to say that Marisol is NOT for H ...
but i don`t know how writers can fix the staf...may be H mast will get shot and Y will arive to safe him...i don`t know but live with HOPE that she will be back...

I just loved thid thread gang, I thought I was the only one sad about Sofia/Yelina leaving the show. I love the character Yelina, one of my favs and I love the actress Sofia Milos. We have a lot in common, we both are italians not born in Italy, I've sent a letter asking and autographed photo of her and I've received one with loving words of her, I was thrilled. She also answered when I e-mailed her, it was before she left the show though.
I really found coincidence that Yelina came to Brazil, since I live here, I want her back though.
The show will not be the some, here in Brazil the new season only starts in one or two weeks, it used to start 5 weeks after the show starts in the US but now AXN will air it and they changed that. I can't wait to see the first episode.
We should do a petition asking her back.

i suppose that again we in my country will watch the SCI miami show in the essence. too long time will wait... but i live with the hope when we strat S4 i already will read in this forum spoiler who said that Y is come back from Brazil. i know that when i read in advance what is go in on the show i just spoil the surprise, but i`m to curious. and Y is my favourite characters...and i know inside of me that she will be return...
i don`t know what will do without her, when i follow S 1,2,3 every epi i was In await to see H and Y scene. tell me i`m insane. but this staff in crime show is like seasoning to the food.

Same here. For me, their scenes were the best on the show and I miss them more than I can say.

As for Yelina returning in Season 4, I don't think she will, but I really don't know. I hope I am wrong! I think Ann Donahue is more likely to save her return for later in the series, but this is pure speculation really.

Daniela, you are definitely not alone! She is a wonderful actress and very beautiful too. I hope she's not gone too long. The writers had so many options they could have taken to develop her character further, but instead packed her off to Brazil!
