Nice picture!

I just wanted to say that I was full of admiration for Yelina in 'NTL'. Imagine the shock to her system when she found out about Ray's infidelity and Madison.

In spite of that, she was capable of rising above her feelings of devastation, anger and hurt to do the right thing the help Madison. That takes compassion, strength of character and selflessness.

The ability to do that very much mirrors Horatio's own self-sacrificial nature. He recognizes that in Yelina and has the utmost respect for her because of it. Horatio knows all too well how hard the decision must have been for her, hence his expression here...

the chat between H/Y in 'NtL' was so 'hard' and H succeed to faind the right words...it was so many 'pain'in Y eyes..some times love is like poison drink and we drank of it again and again...and if it`s form her/his lips will do it again and again heheheh

Y decision to help Medison kid is so greatly and hard at the same time. only mother can understand mother ...

i mark that Y and H don`t talk a lot, they understand one other only with eys contact....for love or friendship so strong words are often stay unspoken ...

Beautiful, beautiful pics everyone. I never get tired of reading/posting about 'ntl'. It is truly one of my favorite H/Y episodes.

On the show she plays a Columbian and speaks Spanish so it really is easy to think of her in that way.

I just wish that the writers would have developed her character more. There really was scope for that, and I hold them responsible for failing to do this. Sofia is a wonderful actress, and did so well with what she was given on the show. Kudos to her for that!

I couldn't have expressed it better myself. We all feel the same way and right now I think our usual faith in the writer's has swindled a large amount and hopefully not to an irrepairable amount.
Sofia is definately a great actress and I don't believe they could've gotten a better actress to portray Yelina. She has definately been the Miami's spice and it hasn't been the same without her.

i don`t know if this is was dislocation in this thread before, but i was tell for me who is the 'one' epi for Y....
and now i will tell for H who was the 'hard' epi in S3...hell night...when Y beg H for help with Rjr...it was so sad in the end of it...Y/S/Rjr go home like a family and 'poor' H just stand aside....

Poor H. I always thought he had a rather menacing expression at the end there. It seemed to reflect more than just his pain.

Such a heart breaking moment for all of us. Thanks for those. We all do miss what flare Yelina/Sofia brought to the show and await her return with bated breath.

Her father is Italian and her mother Greek. Sofia says that she considers herself to be more of a Greek, though, since she is of Greek Orthodox and grew up in a Greek lifestyle and community.

Wow that's awesome. Every Greek person I know(including people who are half like Sofia) leans more towards their Greek side and Sofia is no different heh. As a Greek I always thought "Milos" was a Greek last name considering some Greek surnames end in "los" Anyhoo, another thing that surprises me is that Sofia gets her religion from her mom. Most kids who come from marriages with mixed religions usually take the dad's religion. Anyhoo, enough rambling from me. I miss Yelina and I want her back!

and it`s true people by mix marriage is so sexy and exotic . in Sofia radiating have somthing 'strangely' and beautiful at the same time. i like the way she look at H...so 'strong' look...and don`t forget her hair....every one woman will want to have it

We all definately miss her and the wait has been long but we're still holding out.

I definately love her hair! Curls are high maintenance and she takes care of them so wonderfully.

Well, apparently she has been asked to reprise her role on The Sopranos. Here's the quote (taken from the Atlanta Journal Constitution) from the previous page of this thread, posted by HoratioAndMe:

The writers (of The Sopranos) have also reportedly approached Swiss born Sofia Milos about reprising her role as Annalisa Zucca. However, the actress is said to be waiting out for another role elsewhere.

Intriguing much!

You're welcome and I agree with you. The writers of The Sopranos obviously recognize a class act when they see it. I'm still keeping everything crossed for her return to CSIM though, even if it turns out to be a long wait!
